Great sound, some minor issues with Bluetooth uh

Both are very good. I have a few issues that I wanted to mention. One is that I have to go into the Bluetooth settings, turn off Bluetooth, turn it back on, and then try to connect my headphones to my iPhone 17. I have to do this every time. The problem may be with my iPhone but I find this inconvenient. The second issue is with the case. A lot of of the reviewers online gave great reviews to the case. I would as well, but with one qualification. You have to fold the headphones exactly right or they won’t fit in the case. It takes some practice. The case is important to me because I use these for my commute on the train. I am putting them on and taking them off pretty frequently so the case is a big issue. Other than these issues I’m pretty happy so far.

Excellent Noise cancelling headphones for travel

They comfortably reduce constant external noise by ~98% while providing excellent sound for music and podcasts. Built-in convenient touch controls let you change volume, pause NC, change volume/tracks, etc. while connecting via bluetooth or phone-plug. Bought a pair for myself and then bought another pair for my spouse. Comes with a case as well!

Solid choice for noise cancellation

I like the color, they feel nice, and obviously block out noise really well. They do have a strong 'clamp force' which I'm hoping will ease up with time. They're bulkier and heavier feeling on than the QC but not terribly uncomfortable. Honestly I can't say they totally justify the price tag, but if you have cash to spare they're nice.

Takes Noise canceling to a whole new level

I like that they manage to block out any of the background noise that occurs when working in an office setting so you can just concentrate. I also work from home and they are the BEST at blocking out the annoying landscaping noises from lawnmowers and leafblowers that just end up breaking my focus.

Not the best for calls, but music is transcendent!

My only issue is that these headphones are poor for phone calls unless I’m looking straight ahead. They are not good to talk on the phone when I’m doing things that require looking down. The microphone gets muffled terribly and the other caller cannot hear me anymore. I have to take one star away because being able to talk on the phone hands free while I’m doing things is important to me. However, these are really made for listening to music. It was like listening to music for the first time ever. I heard new things in songs I have been listening to for 30 years! When I listened to my favorite opera song (Flower Duet) I actually teared up. There have been zero connectivity problems which is such a relief after AirPods constant connectivity issues.

The sound really vibrates in my ears and in my soul as well. Turning off noise cancellation proved to be a little bit troublesome, but overall it was easy. I am thinking of getting the white one as well.

Good, while XM5 is still not bad

The new hinge system, potentially addressing the hinge issues seen with the XM5. I like the folding design and a smaller carrying case. The improvement on noise-canceling is notice-able. Other than that, not so much difference on sound quality. The touch control pad looks more responsive. Did not get a chance to test Microphone yet. Overall, if you like better noise cancellation and the folding design, go for it. Otherwise, XM5 is still good.

I was originally going to go for the Airpods Max but after much reviewing I decided to go for this product, and omg did it kill my concerns. Its got a comfortable battery life, making it so you dont have to worry about charging it daily (though id recommend still doing so) but it alos blocks out almost all noise. Its honestly amazing.

I will say there are a lot more notes and the additional mics were very nice. Personally I feel like the noise cancellation was still the same if not a little better but the thing that sets these apart is the immersive sound. There were three different modes you could choose from and I really enjoyed how it affected the music on top of that. The new design with a wider headband and being able to fold was very nice. I also love how they changed the case design to be magnetic very useful. The touch controls also seemed more responsive than previous designs but overall they were really good headphones for the price though I do think that the Mx 4s are still more than enough, but if you are really wanting the top of the top headphones, I think these are good
