I highly recommend opting for an annual protection plan, as these plans typically safeguard all products purchased from Best Buy. Please ensure that all your purchases are indeed made from Best Buy.

Used it for 5 days without needing to charge. The noise cancel seems to be the same as the xm5 didn't notice much of a difference. The headphones can rotate so the cuffs are pointing in which is better than the xm5 because there were times when it would accidentally start tapping and playing a song or whatever. I like how they still give the option to use a jack if wired is your thing or you can't charge it but want to still use them. The issue's I've had seem to be more from the manufacturing. I had to return it after a week because the headphones had a consistent crackling sound and when I checked online I saw this was a common issue. The second pair i got I hear white noise occasionally which I was told are the microphones adjusting for noise cancelling. My second set also had issues with the different NC levels with the left side letting in more noise than the right. I've heard it's due to possible dust and debris which Is weird because I've only had this second pair for a week and kept it in the case. Might have to return this one too as I can't seem to fix the NC leaking on the left ear.

For the white noise and noise-canceling issues, here are a few things we can try.
1. Restart your headphones.

3. Update the firmware: Make sure your headphones are running the latest firmware version through the Sony | Sound Connect app.

Good sound quality not the best build quality

Depending on what you listen to, out of the box the unequalized frequency response doesn't really accentuate the treble or bass in my opinion. Materials wise this thing is a fingerprint magnet, I wish plastic on the earcups was more oil resistant it looks like an oil slick if you don't wipe it off every so often.

I recently lost a pair of headphones in Tokyo and needed a replacement quick. I did allot of research on Youtube and the XM6’s were highly regarded, which made my decision allot easier. These feel great on my head and over my ears. The noise cancelling function on these headlhones is excellent for the type of environments I’m engaged in. I’m sfill learning about the XM6’s functionality, but for now I’m really happy with this purchase.

The EQ settings are really great for a customizable listening experience too! All in all well worth the money, I’m happy with my upgrade

Noise canceling works very well and sound quality is excellent! If there was one caveat, it would be I wish it had more bass. With certain music I feel as though it’s limiting what the headphones are capable of.

I’ve had the brand Sony for almost my entire life. Has the best base comfort easier to travel with a condenses. They don’t fall off your head and on the side of the headphones, you can change the song pause skip best quality I’ve seen in a headphone.

Worth the upgrade

I was hesitant to upgrade to the mx6 because of the price tag but after having them for a week now, I’m glad I did. The noise canceling and quality of sound are on a whole other level compare to previous generations. Definitely worth it
