We’re sorry to hear the audio sounds muffled! To improve clarity, we recommend using the Sony | Sound Connect app to set your Bluetooth Connection Quality to "Prioritize Sound Quality" and enabling DSEE Extreme to restore high-end detail. You can also use the Equalizer presets, like "Bright," to sharpen the vocals and reduce any heaviness in the bass.

Since you're hearing distortion specifically over Bluetooth, here are a few things to check that might help: In the Sony | Sound Connect app, go to Settings and look for a setting called Bluetooth Connection Quality. If it's set to "Prioritize Sound Quality (LDAC)," try switching it to Prioritize Stable Connection. You can reset the Headphones and Disable DSEE Extreme as well!
