Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the noise canceling and it comfortable I do recommend to get a case for headphones if you don’t like oil or finger prints stain since it a matte finish it’s does get oil/finger print stain easily but beside that it amazing. I love it ! Especially when I try to mute the outside noise with music or tone down loud noise in my surroundings

Slightly overrated but overall great

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good after you customize eq to your liking but I must say it’s a little underwhelming anc wise like it’s good don’t get it twisted but not as insane as some people make it seem AirPods Max definitely beats it by quite a bit not being able to customize the anc like in past models also brings it down also the fit while comfortable some times can be crooked because of the way the hinges bend making it look crooked and off centered on your head sometimes which looks dumb if you catch it in the mirror but otherwise it’s good

The WH-1000XM6 uses an Auto NC Optimizer with our QN3 processor to adjust noise cancellation in real-time, though we understand the preference for more manual control like in previous models. If the new hinge design feels a bit off-center, a quick adjustment of the headband sliders usually helps secure a more balanced fit.

Excellent sound quality

I have had some issues with my first headset that was making clicking noise from what im guessing was a broken speaker. My exchanged pair is working great so far. The battery in it lasts me all through the work week as well usually.

XM6 really good for me

Only some minor issues. It’s not as comfort as my Bose quietcomfort ultra. It would also be nice to be able to adjust the ambient sound level. Connect to multiple devices works well, but I am still looking for the options not to start music when connected to my iPhone. That’s kind of annoying. Nothing is perfect but it’s very very nice.

Great sound, some minor issues with Bluetooth uh

Both are very good. I have a few issues that I wanted to mention. One is that I have to go into the Bluetooth settings, turn off Bluetooth, turn it back on, and then try to connect my headphones to my iPhone 17. I have to do this every time. The problem may be with my iPhone but I find this inconvenient. The second issue is with the case. A lot of of the reviewers online gave great reviews to the case. I would as well, but with one qualification. You have to fold the headphones exactly right or they won’t fit in the case. It takes some practice. The case is important to me because I use these for my commute on the train. I am putting them on and taking them off pretty frequently so the case is a big issue. Other than these issues I’m pretty happy so far.

Noise cancelling and ambient sound (transparency mode) has improved significantly from the previous model. They're very comfortable, travel case is unique with the magnetic locking mechanism, and the customizable EQ is awesome! Lastly, they work great as a Playstation headset but an external mic would be required.

They did meet up to my expectation, but the Sony this is where I wanna be the fit the sound the noise, cancellation and even the pauses for you remove the headphones. I am very satisfied. The Best All Around Wireless Headphone

I hate the price tag but others around this price really do not compare. The comfort without sacrificing sound quality. Bigger Framed Glasses do causes irritation after multiple hours (2+)

Solid Upgrade from XM5

Huge upgrade on the noise cancellation on the plane. Clamping force is a bit stronger with this one which is really nice, doesn't slip off when I am working out. First day or so my ear was a bit uncomfortable which had me worried but once it "broke in" its been smooth sailing and very comfortable.

Worth the Upgrade!

A lot more comfortable I’d say the case is a lot better as the headphones fold. Best noise cancelation on any by far. I’d say it’s better than the AirPods Max.

Good sound

The music sounds so good and the battery life is not too bad. I noticed a few days ago though, that some of my music that played well on it, are no longer working well. I did get a 2 year protection plan, so let's see how that goes in case I need their help.

We would like to help you resolve this right away so you don't need to use your protection plan for a minor issue. We recommend trying this quick fix in the Sony | Headphones Connect app:
Go to the Sound tab.
Find the setting for Bluetooth Connection Quality.
If it is currently set to Prioritize Sound Quality, please try changing it to Prioritize Stable Connection.
This simple change often resolves unexpected audio playback issues.
