The sound is incredible overall and it blocks out the sound and annoys the area making it a very peaceful and calm environment.

The voice technology is unsurpassed by any other headphone I’ve tried. I talk on my headphones at work, in the car, while working outside and to go to sleep. People report (clearly) being able to hear my voice without any idea of what’s going on around me. The noise cancelling muffles exterior noises so I can focus on who I’m talking or listening to. I returned these headphones to try out the Bose headphones that are the same price and exchanged those for the Sony’s again the next day. The sound tech in these headphones excites me. The 360 sound is something that not even all music applications are capable of, yet. Overall, I am a 150% Satisfied Customer

Not sure yet as I traded my Apple over the head, earphones AirPods Max and the sound dead seems better on the max.

Step up from the XM5s

They let me down in a lot of ways (sound quality and the hinge for starters). Then I started seeing leaks for the XM6 and I was like “okay one last try”. I’m very glad I did. These are bar none the best cans I’ve owned. I owned AirPods Max and sold them, had B&W Px7 and gave them away for poor noise cancelling. The XM6 finally achieved everything I was looking for in over-ear headphones

Exceptional experience over QC35s.

The sound quality is way superior and the noise cancelling is absolutely amazing. Flew with the XM6 and it was honestly very good. They cancel out all the constant background noises but also human chatter. The ambient sound mode is exceptional as well! Walked around the airport with the headphones on in the ambient mode and could hear all the chatter around me very very clearly.
