Not bad sound quality

If you want a headphone that is the best of the nest with features, these are tour go to.

Great over ear headphones, but not for me

They truly are great over ear headphones, doing a great job with audio quality and a lot of great bass. The active noise canceling is really strong, and it’s pretty good at automatically switching to transparency mode when it detects you are talking. The pass through audio from your surroundings is crystal clear when that happens. It’s not for me, though, because I was trying these out to see how much better they were than AirPods Pro (2nd gen). To me, the delta was not nearly good enough to warrant something so much larger and harder to travel with (though the case is very nice). AirPods work great for me, so I’m just going to stick to those.

Improvement over the xm5, still has app issues

App interface with the phone is a little bit more laggy than the previous iteration, this might get fixed with software updates, unclear.

Regarding the app performance you mentioned, we want to ensure your interface experience is as smooth as your listening. To resolve the lag you're seeing, we recommend clearing the cache within your phone's app settings. If that doesn't do the trick, a fresh start by uninstalling and then reinstalling the Sony | Headphones Connect app often resolves these types of software hiccups. This should help the app's responsiveness match the premium performance of the headphones themselves.

Worth the price tag

I havent had time yet to listen to uncompressed music just yet. But I am sure it will sound amazing since the drivers in these headphones are extremely accurate. If you enjoy music buy these. Life is to short to listen to music you love be muddy and distorted. The noise cancellation in these Sony's are next level too.

Great headphones but a slight upgrade from XM5

Great sound, but…

She like how the headphone controls work and the seamless integration with all her devices. Downside - because of how the headphones fold , they would not stay “square” on her head. They had a tendency to “twist” while she was wearing them which she found very annoying. Eventually returned & got Bose QV Ultra 2nd Fen.

The noise cancellation is out of this world. The downside is these cause a lot of sweat on the ear cups due to the material and ears get hot. Hopefully they end up selling replacement ear cups that are breathe able and don’t effect the sound.
