Regarding the "smart" features, we understand how frustrating it can be when they are overly sensitive and interrupt your listening experience. The headphones are designed with features like "Speak-to-Chat" and "Adaptive Sound Control" to be convenient, but we know user preference can vary.
Fortunately, you have control over the sensitivity of these features. You can adjust or turn off most of these settings in the Sony | Sound Connect app. For Speak-to-Chat: You can go into the app settings and adjust the sensitivity of the "Voice Detect" feature to a lower level, or simply turn it off completely if you prefer manual control. For Adaptive Sound Control: You can also manage or disable this feature in the app. It allows you to customize the settings for different locations and activities, or you can set your noise cancellation and ambient sound levels manually.

The noise canceling works well in transit, especially on flights and trains. They don't perform as well with sudden noises, but this is to be expected. They are great quality. Effective misophonia relief

She tried other passive and active noise cancelling earbuds and headphones, and none work as well as these to block sounds that trigger her (chewing swallowing, sniffling, etc.) Sound quality and comfort are top notch. I highly recommend these cans for audiophiles and anyone with misophonia!

I have had numerous models, but these by far are the best! Ive tried expensive to cheap and I have to say these M6s are all around superior. My local BB had this. I can happily say after multiple airplane trips, these work excellent. The Bluetooth paired easily with my phone and with my computer. The automatic noise canceling (ANC) is superb. The battery life is excellent. I love the right ear control double-tap to pause, swipe to change volume all works great.

I have gone through many pairs of headphone and none of them compare to THE XM6. You usually have basics qualities on headphones like sound, comfort, portability. However the XM6’s “basic” qualities are great qualities. They are by far the most comfortable and high definition sounding headphones. These are generationally superior to everything.
