XM6 is really worth it

These won't replace studio headphones as far as knowing how the audio sounds, but they will replace any fullsize wireless headphones hands down. They are comfortable and light ... better than my sennhizers, beats, etc. I bought them for long plane flights, and being surrounded in nosey environments. I'm sure I won't use them as much as my small carry anywhere power beats pro's but for trips ... they are awesome. But they do cost a lot ... it might be worth getting the XM5 instead, but I got these b/c of the rotation.

XM6 really good for me

Only some minor issues. It’s not as comfort as my Bose quietcomfort ultra. It would also be nice to be able to adjust the ambient sound level. Connect to multiple devices works well, but I am still looking for the options not to start music when connected to my iPhone. That’s kind of annoying. Nothing is perfect but it’s very very nice.

Sony finally brought back the foldable design, so they tuck away into a much smaller, incredibly convenient magnetic travel case that fits perfectly in my bag.The sound profile is rich, punchy, and super engaging, and being able to listen while charging is a total game-changer for long travel days. With a rock-solid 30-hour battery life, these are easily the best daily drivers I’ve ever owned.

The only take back is I wish it had a better way of folding them. The travel case makes them a little bulky to carry around.

Excellent Noise Cancelling

I have a high school baseball player who likes for me to record his games. Some of his tournaments are durning the day and I’ve been blessed to have a remote job so am able to attend his games and continue working. There are times where I have to jump on a zoom call durning the games and I was able to drown out the walk up music that is played and the crowd noises durning my meetings. I could not hear the noise an neither could the person I was meeting with.

To keep it in perspective, I still have my Bose Ultra earbuds and will never leave. Ive tried every earbud on the market and none come close to the bose for sound, NC, and comfort. The talking is less to be desired but the gen 2 are to be relased later this week and they claim to have fixed the issue. Now onto the Sony XM6. These are by far the best over ear headphones on the market. You’ve probably researched all the reviews on youtube and they are correct. The only thing I would add is to find YOUR best suited EQ settings. This is extremely important. I followed this one guy on IG and he shared his setting and I ‘liked’ the XM6 before the adjustment, now afterwards I will confirm these are a perfect 10. A must have. So yes buy them, yes fix your EQ settings and finally yes you will say I do NOT have buyers remorse. This is just one man’s, in search of the perfect headphones opinion. Thank you for reading.

Solid Upgrade from XM5

Huge upgrade on the noise cancellation on the plane. Clamping force is a bit stronger with this one which is really nice, doesn't slip off when I am working out. First day or so my ear was a bit uncomfortable which had me worried but once it "broke in" its been smooth sailing and very comfortable.

A lot more comfortable I’d say the case is a lot better as the headphones fold. Best noise cancelation on any by far. I’d say it’s better than the AirPods Max.
