Since the app connection is unstable and Ambient Mode requires frequent re-connection, please ensure both the headphones and the Sony Headphone Connect app are updated to the latest versions, and then try performing an initialization (factory reset) on the headphones, as this often resolves communication bugs and restores full functionality.
