I had a pair of XM5's and those were amazing. These are even better. Foldable design makes them more compact and easier to travel. Magnet clasp on carrying case is very nice. I guess i never realize the tine it took to zip and unzip the XM5's. Nice ease of use upgrade. The ANC and transparancy modes are even better than the XM5s. The head band and ear cups feel soft, comfortable and dont cause any discomfort even after a four hour listening session. Overall amazing. As for cons there is an ANC mike in the center of the inside earcups that protrudes out a bit. I am hoping as I wear the ear cups in, this will not cause discomfort. Price increase to $450 from $400 for the XM5's was not welcomed. But I guess the price of everything is going up price wise.

The Sony XM6 headphones deliver amazing sound with deep bass, crisp highs, and excellent noise cancellation. They’re extremely comfortable for long use, and the battery life easily lasts all day. The app customization is great, and call quality is clear. These are the second set of Sony XM6 headphones I have one for myself and one as gift. Overall, a premium upgrade that feels worth every dollar.

These are the best headphones I have ever owned! I am always looking for good quality audio that matches the price, and these ones do. I like the way they fit and are designed. Everything is simple and looks appealing, along with a very simple magnetic case to go with it. The button designs are obvious which is nice to click the right ones on the left side. The right side has amazing swiping features that make it easy to change the music or video without needing to click the device. The app is also amazing as it has incredible features and customizations. I like the one where when I take off the headphones it will pause whatever I’m listening to. Not to mention the best part which is the noise cancellation, nothing beats it. Overall I’m very happy with the product and everything it has to offer!

The Sony WH-1000XM6 are the best ANC headphones I’ve used, great sound, top-tier noise cancellation, excellent call quality, and solid 30-hour battery life. They’re comfortable, foldable, and packed with smart features. Pricey, but worth it.

Excellent upgrade , even if coming from a the XM5s. I use these all day at the office for Teams and Zoom calls and the battery life is great! The sound quality is excellent. My coworkers mentioned I sounded robotic when I walked away downstairs to the kitchen, about 40+ feet away, which is expected. But I was still connected and could hear them fine. When I'm within the appropriate BT range, I have zero issues with them. The noise cancellation is 2nd to none! One minor complaint, be careful when removing them from the carry case and unfolding them. When I first opened them, I got pinched on the finger and it's a pretty sharp pinch. I am glad they fold again, as the carry case is smaller. I also use them with an External DAC for Qobuz FLAC audio. I have a Dense Audio DAC and they sound even better when using that 3.5mm hard wired cable to the DAC.

These headphones check EVERY BOX. Comfort, Battery life, Ease of use, And of course Sound. Only one negative, they make my ears Sweat. But they are better insulated then the previous model. So no damage frome sweating.

I came from the Airpods Max and couldnt be happier. The AirPods Max never felt like the best-in-class in either ANC or sound quality generally. I was holding off on the XM5 until the XM6 and ended up trading in the AirPods Max. The build quality on these is wonderful and they are much lighter than the Max. Sound quality is another level and the ANC is amazing. They are also much more comfortable to wear than the Max. The travel case is also excellent. I haven’t played around with the accompanying app much but it looks like it has some cool features. Really happy with my purchase!

First time trying a WH-1000XM series headphone and these XM6’s are awesome! The ANC and Transparency modes are top level. With ANC the world around you disappears and with Transparency mode you can hear birds chirping and cars approaching while walking your dog. Sony really out did themselves with these 2 feature. Comfort level is also top notch, I can wear these for hours no problem. The battery life is excellent, up to 30 hours with ANC features turned on. And the sound quality is superb, you can even have a custom EQ with a 10-band slider to get the exact sound you want.

I found these amazingly comfortable and extremely effective at reducing airplane noise. The battery life is phenomenal as well. If I had to pick at anything, it’s the case that I’m not fond of. While I’m happy it’s there as competitors don’t include one, you have to contort the headphones to get them in the case. And if they are not placed in the case perfectly the case won’t close but again I am nitpicking.

Phenomenal sound clarity; a clear step up even from the XM5s I currently own. ANC is basically unparalleled at this point. When on, entire world is basically on mute (especially while music is playing). Comfort level is great, even if the clamping is a bit stronger than the xm5. Owned a pair of airpods max for a few years, and let me just say as an iphone user, the xm6s blow them out of the water in so many categories that matter most (sound, comfort, portability, ANC). These are by far the best headphones I’ve ever worn and it’s not even close.

Before buying the Sony XM6, I compared them with the Apple AirPods Max. I honestly felt the Sony headphones were much better. The noise cancellation has very minimal low humming sound, and the cinematic mode along with the overall audio quality is excellent. I also love how lightweight and comfortable they feel. The only drawback is that they don’t look as premium as the AirPods Max. But apart from that, the sound quality, adaptive noise cancellation, and cinematic sound experience are awesome.

I am a very picky person when it comes to headphones. I have bought and returned many because I am not happy with them. This is the first pair that I will 100% say that I will keep because of how light it is how long the battery life is and how great it sounds. The flexibility of it with the headband with the clamp is great. I work out. It’s a great workout headset. I can sling around all I want and they do not follow my head. I have 100% recommend.

I just got the new Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones, and they're fantastic. The noise cancellation is truly next-level and the sound quality is crisp and powerful, especially for music with strong bass. While they are a bit pricey, the performance and features make them worth every penny.

I expected not a big upgrade coming from the wh1000xm5 but I came to be fascinated at how much the audio and fit improved my previous headphones. Not only the sound but the built quality improved by making them more ergonomic and foldable would recommend to anyone with the budget so they can get a premium sound experience with extreme comfort.

The Sony XM6s offer a fantastic audio experience with great sound and top-tier noise cancellation. You'll love the awesome battery life, and the "hear-through" mode works perfectly without making you dizzy. Just keep in mind they're not ideal for hot environments because they can make you sweaty, and the hinges might take a bit of getting used to. Still, they're a solid choice for their premium sound and features.
