I just wish I could keep the ambient sound mode on instead of having it switch back to noise cancellation mode automatically.

The Sony WH-1000XM6 are hands down some of the best all-around headphones I’ve ever owned. The noise cancellation is incredible and has been a total game changer for work. Once I put them on, I can really lock in and focus without distractions, even in noisy environments. The sound quality is excellent across the board, but what really surprised me is the cinema mode. Watching movies with these feels immersive and rich, almost like a personal theater experience. Everything sounds clear, detailed, and balanced, whether it’s dialogue, music, or effects. They’re comfortable enough to wear for long periods, intuitive to use, and just feel premium in every way. From productivity to entertainment, these headphones deliver on all fronts. Premium performance at a premium price

With that said, they are hundred percent worth it. You get class leading noise canceling and comfort with very decent sound out of the box that can be tuned in the incredible app to be almost perfect for any listening preference. The included case is very well made, and the magnetic latch is genius because it allows easy and fast access to the headphones. The only problem I have is a nitpick, and that is the build quality is a slight downgrade when compared to other headphones like the bose qc ultra and sonos ace, but the xm6's still feel decent just not as premium. So, if you want the overall best everyday headphones, the xm6's are currently unmatched in the current headphone landscape.

The fact that they're so light and carry a punchy sound make them even more awesome. I was going back and forth between this and the apple airpod Max's but they were too heavy and didn't have a deeper bass compared to the Sony's. I got them for my wife as I still use my XM4's. I can say sound wise it isn't a huge upgrade from the XM4's but they've upgraded the noise cancellation and the sidetone feature drastically. Solid buy nonetheless and my wife loves it which is the most important thing as a husband haha

Good quality, good upgrade from previous models

Sony needs to upgrade their SoundConnect app UI but the EQ still works well so outdated UI is the only small downside, would recommend.

Best headphones ever!

I had high hopes for them, but still not fully expecting what I would recieve. I tried them on and was instantly blown away by their noise cancellation and other features such as hand over ear which makes it easy to hear others around you. The way you can raise the volume or skip songs. Its all swiping makes it so much easier than buttons that can break. They are so comfortable I never get tired wearing them and I wear them all day at school or when I workout. 10/10 product worth the money!

Effective misophonia relief

She tried other passive and active noise cancelling earbuds and headphones, and none work as well as these to block sounds that trigger her (chewing swallowing, sniffling, etc.) Sound quality and comfort are top notch. I highly recommend these cans for audiophiles and anyone with misophonia!

These are amazing headphones!

She decided to wait a year until these ones came out and brought them. Not only is the noice canceling fantastic, but so is is the ambient sound mode for when she commutes by foot and bus. The sound quality is phenomenal and theyre so easy to use with the app. Oh and the battery lasts days even with hours of use. Shes only charged them about 4 times, theyve never died, and shes had them for 2 months. I have yet to see her without them on!
