Great headset. Not worth the price.

Wearing for an extended period on a plane, for example, you will notice fluctuations in the noise cancelling frequency and it is quite unpleasant. Nothing you can do in the settings even when you specifically disable that toggle. Seems I’m in the minority here, though. Battery life is EXCELLENT. Its also nice to be able to connect to 2 devices at once. But these are not nearly worth the price.

This behavior is most often caused by the Adaptive Sound Control feature, which we recommend disabling in the Sony | Headphones Connect app to maintain a consistent noise-canceling level. If the issue persists, please ensure you have the latest firmware installed.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The headphones are pretty good, the sound quality is good since these are my first pair of headphones, although connecting with the Sony app will disconnect even though you're connected and sometimes the ambient mode won't work and you have to disconnect & reconnect, but overall just don't buy these for full price, wait till they're on sale.

Since the app connection is unstable and Ambient Mode requires frequent re-connection, please ensure both the headphones and the Sony Headphone Connect app are updated to the latest versions, and then try performing an initialization (factory reset) on the headphones, as this often resolves communication bugs and restores full functionality.
