To address the volume levels, we recommend checking the "Sound" tab in the Sony | Sound Connect app to ensure the "Volume Liaison" or safety limiters aren't capping your output, and you can also use the equalizer to boost specific frequencies to your liking. Regarding the "gaps" in the ear cups and sweat exposure, please note that these headphones are not officially IP-rated for water or sweat resistance; we recommend wiping them down after use and ensuring a snug headband adjustment to maintain the best acoustic seal for the noise canceling to function optimally.

The WH-1000XM6 uses new, softer synthetic leather and padding designed to improve comfort and acoustic isolation. However, we know fit and comfort are very personal, and some users might find the headband or earcups a bit snug out of the box. The padding can soften a bit over time, but if you continue experiencing discomfort, adjustable sliders and rotating earcups may help you find a more relaxed fit.
