Worth the cost

I never use headphones, but the XM6’s changed my stance on that. They are super light weight and you forget they are on. Super comfortable too!! Audio is it beat ive heard and even beats some of the more expensive studio grade ones ive tried.

Sony XM6 deliver on all fronts

Great sound, some minor issues with Bluetooth uh

Both are very good. I have a few issues that I wanted to mention. One is that I have to go into the Bluetooth settings, turn off Bluetooth, turn it back on, and then try to connect my headphones to my iPhone 17. I have to do this every time. The problem may be with my iPhone but I find this inconvenient. The second issue is with the case. A lot of of the reviewers online gave great reviews to the case. I would as well, but with one qualification. You have to fold the headphones exactly right or they won’t fit in the case. It takes some practice. The case is important to me because I use these for my commute on the train. I am putting them on and taking them off pretty frequently so the case is a big issue. Other than these issues I’m pretty happy so far.

Best in-class ANC and more durable hinges

The XM3 lasted me for over 3 years now and they are fantastic. The hinges on those headphones were cracking so I decided to replace them with these XM6. The noise cancellation on the new headphones is superior, the hinges are designed much better, and they are more comfortable on the ear. I especially like the adaptive noise canceling feature that adjusts the noise cancelation and ambient noise based on your surroundings. The Bluetooth connection is strong and you can connect to two sources at the same time. The included hard case is strong and durable for travel. The only negative about these headphones is the cost. Perhaps during Black Friday, they will go lower.

I was originally going to go for the Airpods Max but after much reviewing I decided to go for this product, and omg did it kill my concerns. Its got a comfortable battery life, making it so you dont have to worry about charging it daily (though id recommend still doing so) but it alos blocks out almost all noise. Its honestly amazing.

Tried Sennheiser first but had issue that they kept disconnecting from my PC. No issue with these. Battery life is also great. I don’t charge for days. This is with gaming 2-3 hours a night.

Best headphones I have ever used!

Excellent sound quality and features. The one downside is the finish on these shows finger prints very easily, it is very annoying but not enough to affect my view of them. The battery life is incredible, i have them a lot and have only charged like twice.

Allowing ambient noise actually amplifies background noise, but it helps to be able to hear yourself talk to not shout at people when using as a headset. They do an amazing job with background noise cancellation. To test my wife was yelling in the room near me and the people on the other end of a meetings call couldn’t hear her at all. However, rocking motions forward and back will result in the noise cancellation causing you to cut in and out. Normal movement is fine though. The magnetic carrying case is much nicer than the previous generations. I also appreciate the ability to feel the difference between the round power button and the oblong feature button. I’m not a fan of the touch controls on the right cup as sometimes they can be a little wonky, but they work way better than on my old XM4s. Overall I highly recommend these headphones and believe it would be hard to find a better pair when caring about sound quality and usage as a headset.

Ive had them for a few months and have taken them on a few flights. The noise canceling is amazing! The sound quality is bar none. I had a pair if top of the line Beats and they made my ears sore after just a few hours. I havent had any issues at all. Highly recommend!
