For the comfort issue, we recommend adjusting the headband slider to ensure the earcups are centered over your ears, which can help redistribute the clamping pressure. Regarding the audio, you can use the "Equalizer" settings in the Sony | Headphones Connect app to customize the sound to better match the profile you prefer.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear you're experiencing distortion with your new WH1000XM6 headphones. That's definitely not the listening experience we want you to have—especially since you've noted that they sound great with a wired connection.

Since you're hearing distortion specifically over Bluetooth, here are a few things to check that might help: In the Sony | Sound Connect app, go to Settings and look for a setting called Bluetooth Connection Quality. If it's set to "Prioritize Sound Quality (LDAC)," try switching it to Prioritize Stable Connection. You can reset the Headphones and Disable DSEE Extreme as well!
