It would be 5 stars but even for someone like me who is used to setting up bluetooth stuff the set up was difficult and i feel like it doesnt need an app. Overrall very good item i do recommend

Sometimes over price but for this headphone is pretty good if you just want a basic essetial for traveling or office. Only budget about is not a lot of bass. But cant beat the price if you looking for a budget headphone its this one

They work well but i will admit I am not great at telling sound quality. The sound was good to my ears. They sit on top of the ears, not around so that does get a little uncomfortable after a while.

We also want to confirm an important point you mentioned: you do not need to download any app to get your headphones connected and working. You can absolutely use the standard way: just turn on the headphones, put them into pairing mode and then connect directly through your phone's Bluetooth settings.
The Sound Connect app is only there if you want to play with extra features like adjusting the sound settings, but the core function is there without it.
