We're here to help and would be happy to provide some troubleshooting steps to get this resolved.
-Give both your WH-CH520 headphones and your new phone a quick reboot.

-Go into your new phone's Bluetooth settings and check if any old device names are causing confusion. Also, if possible check your old phone to make sure the WH-CH520 is "forgotten" or "unpaired" from it; the headphones might still be trying to connect to the old device.

It sounds like a traditional over-ear or on-ear design isn't quite right for your needs. In this case, you might be interested in a different kind of audio solution that provides more ventilation. You could consider a neckband speaker, like our SRS-NS7. It rests on your shoulders and provides a personal sound experience without covering your ears, which can help a lot with heat and perspiration.
