Good but that’s it

Not very loud, no base no noise reduction. You are paying for the name Sony and warranty. Good but that’s about it. Expected more for this price point. Not studio quality more, but not this.

The WHCH520 doesn't have a noise cancelling feature. I'd suggest going up a notch and check out the Sony WH-CH720N if you're looking for an excellent noise cancelling headphones. And for top notch, premium noise cancelling headphones, I'd recommend checking out the WH1000XM4 and WH1000XM5. Hope this helps!

The quality of sound on this wasn't as good as the JBL Tune 660NC that he eventually got and the pads were a bit on the small side making it less comfortable. He's a drummer and wanted comfortable over-the-ear style, BT headphones. Certainly less expensive than the JBL Tune 660NC, but didn't work for his needs.

If you feel discomforts while wearing the headset, try extending the slider and adjust the orientation of the left and right units so that each earpad fits snugly over each part of your ear. If you put on the headset without adjusting the slider, the headset may not be positioned properly on your head, resulting in discomfort. The only issue we had is that we couldn't connect them to an old MPOW wireless receiver that we tried to set up for her to use with an analog Korg drum machine. She uses them for her phone and they work great.
