The only catch is with the ear cushion being small size. Wearing for long sometimes hurt the ears. Battery life is very good. Otherwise no concerns on the output or hearing issues.

Great sound, not noise canceling

These headphones did not work well for me while attending my online classes

Buy if you want the most basic setup meaning that you get a vol up and down and a very confusing middle button. the headphones will jump to car and when you press the button to bring it back to headphones it just has to many issues meaning you cannot just press the mid button like in past. No you have to hold it an unusual time in hope it shifts back to headphones. Hit or miss on that function. Mostly have been miss for me. I hold it turns off and I am not just accepting that it do not function as the higher phones I have used in the past have functioned. the previous versions of years ago was so much better. I told the world about the greatness of these back then...but now...I tell them it is the best of the extremally basic.

If your Bluetooth device supports the device operating function (compatible profile: AVRCP), the following operations are available. The available functions may vary depending on the Bluetooth device, so refer to the operating instructions supplied with the device.
Each button has the following function:
• Play (Middle button) - (play/call) / (power) / (Bluetooth)
- Play: Press once while paused.
- Pause: Press once during playback.
• – (Volume –) / (previous)
• +(volume +) / (next)
- Adjust the volume.
- Press and hold until you hear a notification sound to skip to the beginning of the previous track (or the current track during playback)/beginning of the next track. After releasing the button, press it repeatedly within 1 second to hear a notification sound and skip to the beginning of the previous/next track.
Note:
1. If the communication condition is poor, the Bluetooth device may react incorrectly to the operation on the headset.
2. The available functions may vary depending on the connected device, the music software, or app used. In some cases, it may operate differently or may not work even when the operations described above are performed.

We're here to help and would be happy to provide some troubleshooting steps to get this resolved.
-For the pairing issue, try initializing your headphones.
Turn off the headset and remove the USB Type-C cable. Press and hold the (power) button and (volume –) button for about 10 seconds or more. When the initializing is complete, the indicator (blue) flashes 4 times.

-If the sound quality is still off, double-check that no other devices are interfering and make sure they’re not too far from your phone or computer when in use. Also, make sure any audio enhancements or EQ settings on your device are set properly.
-Battery life can be affected by volume levels, the codec used, or even the age of the headphones. If you’re getting a lot less than the stated time, do a full charge (leave them plugged in for at least 3–4 hours) and see if that helps.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Sony WH-CH520 wireless headphones in black are comfortable, easy to operate, and easy to connect with Bluetooth. There definitely have a left and right ear, with the controls in the right one. It says that they are for iphones, but they also work perfectly well with android, I have a Samsung, and there was no problems with connectivity or sound. In fact, there is a statement within the packing that says that they do work with android. There is nothing fancy in their appearance but like i stated above, the ear cups are very well padded and the bar on top of your head is adjustable, sliding in and out to accomodate for the size of the user's head. In my mind, these over the head speakers, although not noise cancelling would be great for mowing and yard work. The sound is totally immersive Interestingly, I had downloaded for a prior Sony set of headphones, their Sony Headphone app. That app immediately sensed these Sony headphones and appeared, asked for an app update, and then proceeded to register and connect the headphones. By the way, this app allows the user to register 2 devices at the same time and be used simultaneously So, these wireless headphones weighing in at 5.2 oz, can with a full charge be used for 50 hours, have a fast charging, 3 minutes for1.5 hours, do multi point, attaching to phones, tablets, and computers, have a sound equalizer, hands free phone calls, connect to Siri for iphone and Bixby for Samsung, a voice assist function. Bottom line, the sound heard with the speakers on and engaged is immersive and enveloping. The app allows for the user to pick their sound option-regular sound or 360 reality audio that is associated with one of the pay for music subscriptions that you can obtain for"x" amount of tme for free. I think this is a good buy.

No noise reduction
