      Hi DenisM,
Thank you for sharing your feedback on the WH-CH520 headphones. We apologize for any inconvenience you've experienced with the sound quality and volume levels.

To enhance your listening experience, we recommend the following steps:

-Use the Sony | Sound Connect app to switch the Bluetooth connection to "Priority on sound quality." This setting prioritizes audio quality over connection stability.

-Ensure that both your headphones and the connected device have appropriate volume levels.

Save your money. Upgrade to something better. First it tries to trick you into downloading an app in order to use the headphones so it can track your data and everything you do. But you get around that and connect the headphones and the sound is absolutely terrible. It’s the worst sound of any headphones I’ve ever used in my entire life. I expected better from Sony.

Hi NobodyImportant, thank you for sharing your feedback. We apologize for any disappointment you experienced with the sound quality of your WH-CH520 headphones.
To help you get the best possible experience, here are a few things you could try:

-If you haven't already, you can use the Sony | Sound Connect app to adjust the equalizer settings. There are several presets you can choose from, or you can create your own custom sound profile to get the sound just right.
-Test the headphones with another phone or laptop to see if the sound quality changes. This can help determine if the issue is with the headphones or the original device.

If you need more personalized assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to our technical support team at https://us.esupport.sony.com/support/s/support-contact?language=en_US&category=headphones

Hi iMty, We are sorry that you are not that comfortable wearing your Sony headphones. Please make sure to adjust the headband of your headphones according to the size of your head for more comfortable listening experience: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/2958/v1/en/contents/TP1000781372.html. Despite your concern, it's nice to hear that you will still recommend your Sony headphones. The WH-CH520 headphones with up to 50 hours of battery life, stable connectivity, and enhanced call performance, meet the demands of your day. The lightweight build and swivel earcups gently slip on and off, while the adjustable headband, cushion and soft ear pads give you all-day comfort. Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) restores the harmonics and liveliness lost during typical music compression, for a more authentic performance. Hi MarisolD,

While we are glad to hear your satisfaction with the reasonable price of the WH-CH520, we are really sorry if you are having a sync issue when using it with your smartphone. This is certainly not the experience we were hoping you would have. Depending on the connected device, the volume may not sync with the headphones. If this is the case, you may not get the desired volume by adjusting the headphones volume. You may try using a combination of the headphone volume and the volume of the connected device to isolate the problem. And if you are having an audio and video out of sync or audio delay issue, please refer to the below:

The audio playback on the headset may be delayed from that on the transmitting device, due to the characteristics of Bluetooth wireless technology. As a result, the sound may not be in sync with the image when viewing movies or playing games.

I was surprised at how light and simple these headphones seemed out of the box. I didn't expect the quality of the sound from them, but for on-the-ear type, they have really good bass and clarity. This was the first inexpensive set of headphones where I wasn't immediately tempted to open an equalizer to tweak the sound, they sounded that good. I actually heard and noticed sounds in songs I've listened to many times that I never really noticed. I prefer over-the-ear phones but these sit well on my ears and I don't get the sweat that I do with those type. These are a budget set, no independent volume control, so you must control it with the device playing the sound. They paired easily with my PC and two phones, and have the usual track-forward and back controls. The battery level is reported when you power them on, and even after a couple hours of use still reported "battery fully charged." They charge easily with an included USB-C cable. Being a low-cost set, there is no included zipper case like the more expensive Sony models, but I think the sound quality makes these worth the money. They sound great.
