Considering I hadn't had ear muffs for a while, I was transcended to an alternate dimension and am currently trying to return back to Earth as the padded muffs were excellent in delivering sound like no other. Definitely recommend if you're ready to go on a trip to another galaxy.

Does anyone need a midrange sized ON-ear headset?

I don't like that I'm forced to have the controls on my right ear, and the 3d-audio setup the sony app forces me to go through to even attempt 3d merely photographs your ear which realistically is stupid because your ear canal controls most of your depth sensing. I went through the setup twice and never could tell the difference. I have a $15 pair of headphones I got from Dollar General that not only sound better, but they also support 3.5mm aux jack as well as bluetooth so I can use them on my computer, although the build quality is worse. I won the sony ones in a contest or I wouldn't have them. As for comfort, Either get ear buds or headphones that cover your ear. Your ears will thank you. These make your ears hurt.

They do not stick out. I painted the on/off white. 2nd minor issue is USB cable is very short, could be longer. Unless I'm wrong, the only way to get the optimal sound adjustment is you have to subscribe? Sound is fine without the EQ extra svc. Other than that,the price,value,and quality are great.
