The Sony WH-CH520 Wireless Headphone with Microphone offer tremendous sound at a bargain price. These are well built, light weight , comfortable headphones. Classified as "On-Ear", they fit comfortably against your ears with gentle ear cushions. They weigh a feather weight 5.185 Ounces! Sony encourages use of its companion app, and you definitely want to do this. There is a graphic equalizer built into the app for tweaking the sound that best suits your preference. The most amazing feature of the app is: "Clear Bass". It is absolutely unbelievable!! Clear Bass cranks up the bass, maximizing the capabilities of the 30mm drivers, while keeping distortion low. I have never heard headphones that "Rock" like these for anywhere near their bargain price! I would never have believed the bass had I not heard them for myself. Also included on the app is the ability to analyze ear shape to maximize the sound profile. The integrated Bluetooth Specification Version 5.2 is solid to about 33 feet (10 meters) & connects effortlessly. The battery is estimated to hold a charge up to 50 hours when using as simply active headphones; deduct 10 hours when used for continuous communication. CONCLUSION: Without question, these Sony WH-CH520 headphones offer the best sound & build quality for the buck. They are a phenomenal bargain & I highly recommend them!

This head phone Frequency Response very good also range of bass, mids is very best . wider frequency response means the headphones can produce more sounds. Impedance: Lower-impedance headphones require less power to deliver.

These headphones aren’t “mind blowing” but they are impressive for their price point. They are lightweight, comfortable and battery life is excellent. Sound quality is very good, I’ve enjoyed using them to listen to podcasts and watch YouTube videos. Voices come through really clean and clear even with background music playing in the video. I watched a whole movie on Netflix and my iPad with these on and my ears never got tired. (A problem I typically have with on ear headphones.) For music, these headphones are pretty decent. Bass and lows are deep without drowning out highs and mids. They don’t bash on your skull, but you can definitely hear the bass in most songs with these. Build quality is good. They feel very sturdy even tho they are lightweight. The buttons are all tactile and the cushion pads are comfortable. They do have a pretty neat feature called “360 reality audio” if you’re willing to pay for the services required. But it seems to be locked to apps that require subscriptions. Tidal, Amazon music, artist connection, nugs.net, peer tracks. I don’t personally use any of those services so I wasn’t really able to test the function. It seems cool from the “demo” that the app let me listen to for the feature but I don’t plan on subbing to any of those services, so keep in mind that if you want to use the 360 audio feature, you’ll need to be a subscriber for a compatible app. That would probably be my only complaint about these headphones. I understand that it’s a feature that the apps provide, so it’s not entirely Sony’s fault. Another thing to note is that they do not have active noise cancelling but it’s forgivable at this budget. I would recommend these headphones if you want a good set of affordable headphones. Or if you already happen to be a subscriber of a 360 audio compatible app. It’s nice to see Sony put out a good sounding and reliable set of affordable headphones.

I am surprised, shocked, and every word you can imagine in Sony! I bought this one and in less than a month it broke as you can see in the picture!! I am 38, i am not a kid or teen that will use it often or hard, i used it rarely and very gentle. I never expected this to happend with Sony brand!! The one i got from Target it was for $14 and it lasts 3 years, and SONY last only 3 weeks, and it was $40! Wow, amazing. And of course Best Buy return policy is a joke, only 14 days, and it broke only one week after return window closed. Well done folks.

These Sony headphones are surprisingly good. They appear to be basic, but basic they are not. They are lightweight and comfortable to use. Out of the box they were super easy to connect to bluetooth and were immediately available to use. A great feature is the ability to connect to two devices at once. On the box go ahead and scan the QR code for quick instructions and a link to the Sony app. The Sony app has a few good features as well. The headphones came fully charged and I have used them for a few days and they are still going strong. A charge cable is included and Sony sats a 3 min charge can run the headphones for 90 minutes. The headphones are not noise canceling, but that is to be understood as they are entry level. That doesn't take away from the features which include excellent sound quality. There is a feature known as 360 reality audio which enhances the audio. It is a bit of an odd process to get 360 reality audio as you need to take photos of your ears then your ears photos are analyzed by Sony and a specific 360 reality audio app is suggested for you personally. Some 360 apps require a payment. To be honest, I bailed on the process because I found it gimmicky. Yet, I still recommend these headphones for the great sound quality that comes standard as well as everything else that is good. The control buttons on the headphones are easy to use. The phone use with these headphones is very good. People say they hear me without issues and that the conversation sound quality is good. The Sony app does all it needs to do. Sony has done a great job with these headphones. I highly recommend them.

I got this for my daughter and after 4 months of light use they're peeling and one side is broken. Best Buy referred me to the manufacturer, Sony. Sony doesn't cover any of these quality issues and provided me with a repair center .

Got these and immediately noticed that they are lightweight as opposed to other brand name headphones. They are comfortable to wear and use; after a while I forgot I had them on. It paired instantly with my Android phone and also works fine with my phones voice command by saying “Hey Google” do x or what is y or any other request of Google. Music from various web sites sounds very good. The volume control is by means of the buttons on the right-side driver housing as well as where the power switch is. Sony prompts to install an app that allows customizing the tone controls by use of an app-based equalizer control panel. This model CH510 does not have electronic Automatic Noise Cancellation but that is obviously reflected in the reasonable pricing. The battery charge lasts a long time (Sony states 50 hours). It is supplied with a USB A to USB C charging cable of about 10 inches whic is used with a phone charger or a USB port on a computer, lamp, other USB capable devices nowadays. There is no storage case supplied in the package. It probably won't matter to many, but there is no 3.5mm stereo analog audio port and no audio cable was supplied to enable using the headphone as a wired device. I feel this headphone is a solid value and should last a long time being that it is Sony which is known for quality.

I really love these headphones! The sound quality is amazing, the battery lasts long enough for daily use, and they’re super comfortable to wear for hours. They also connect easily and feel very light. Totally worth it — I highly recommend them!
