And the JBL headphones slightly out performed these. Still a good set for the price, I might have kept them if not for the side by side.

Okay with phones, awful with laptops

But the laptop audio and mic quality is AWFUL. I can only describe it as trying to speak to someone through a wall with the AC on. While the quality was much better while connected to my phone, it was not anything impressive by any means.
