Poor not load not what i though the sound would be

Not big enough to cover whole ear. Smashes it instead.

There’s a lot of competition in the sub $100 headphone market, and the Sony's WH-CH520 can hold its own. At a price of around $50, they are a real bargain. At this price, there is no noise canceling, and they use some electronic tweaks to improve the sound, but they are a sound value. They also work quite well for phone calls, and they do have multi-point connection ability. Quality-wise, these seem well-made, and they are very light and comfortable for on-the-ear phones. I haven’t had them long enough to really test the battery life, but that does appear to be quite good. These aren’t for audiophile listening but are great wireless headphones to use with a phone or tablet. There’s a Sony app to help with setup, and it’s how you access the equalizer and Sony’s “360 Reality Audio” feature (more about that later). When I first tried pairing them, they found and paired with my computer rather than my phone. After some unsuccessful mucking about, I deleted and reinstalled the app and reset the phones. After that, all went smoothly. The “360” effect is a little unusual. It must be set up in the Sony app and requires you to take photos of your ears for Sony to analyze. At that point, you find that it works with just a handful of streaming apps. Tidal was supported, but many of the most popular services are not. It does prevent the harsh left/right separation often noticeable with headphones or buds, but it’s also a bit over-processed for my taste. I found the “Clear Bass” feature is more useful. It has an effect more like a loudness setting, and doesn't tend to muddle the other frequencies. For good, everyday use and travel (if you don’t need noise canceling), these are a great choice. At the price, they are a solid choice and easy to recommend.

I had AirPods before this but eventually they broke down on one side of the ear. I was tired of the expensive cost of earphones and really didn’t want to spend lots on the same earphones. I came across these headphones when looking for a cheap alternative and honestly it’s worth its price. Even though it’s not ANC it still covers a good bit of noise. If you have a problem with headphones that don’t go over the ear then I would consider a different option, but these on the ear headphones don’t cause much irritation to my ears. The sound quality is good and if you download the Sony app you can tune it just to make it a little better for your tastes. The battery life is what it’s advertised to be, lasts very long and doesn’t need constant charging all the time. Portability is a bit of a problem because they don’t fold in, only the ear muffs rotate to lay flat so if you don’t like having headphones around your neck all the time then good luck. Other than that for the price of 60$ it is worth the buy for people who just need a cheap good quality headphone for everyday use.

I love Sony but this one stopped working after a little over a month, and I can't even return it.

I just got a pair of Sony WH-CH520 wireless headphones. For the price, I was pretty impressed. In the box you will find the headphones, a short 8-inch USB-A to USB-C connector cable, a very short set of instructions, and the warranty information. The first thing I did was pair them with my Samsung cell phone. It was a simple process. In my case, I already have the Sony headphone software on my phone for my earbuds so I didn’t have to load it, but that would be your next step. In the app, you can configure the headphones to sound the way you want them to. The software provides an equalizer as well as the ability to analyze your ear shape for the best possible sound. They support 360 Reality Audio, if that is something that you utilize. With the software, you can connect 2 pairs of Sony audio devices at the same time and they provide help via voice guided prompts. They also monitor your usage and where you use them. While they lack Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), they still sound very good. The ear cups fit snuggly over your ears and keep much of the external noise out. They have good bass sounds as well as good treble and mid-tones. While they don’t compare to the sounds of my Sony ANC Earbuds, I think they make great everyday headphones. The microphone works well and sound nice and clear on the other end. One of the best features of the headphones is their battery life. Fully charged, they are supposed to provide 53 hours of use. A 10-minute charge provides as long as 1.5 hours of use. Use them with your laptop, Android Smartphone or Apple iPhone and they will outlast the battery in your device. I highly recommend these headphones for those on a budget.

I have a number of Headphones in my collection, but many of them are large and/or bulky because of added features like noise cancelling etc. I was looking for light pair of Bluetooth headphones to walk around the home and property, simply for listening to music or making phone calls. In the warm humid summer weather we have here in Florida, full over-the-ear cups and wide cushioned head bands can get very hot and thus sweaty. After reading the specifications the Sony WH-CH520 wireless headphone seemed worthy of a try. When you hear high quality audio ,will be hearing noise.

Lasted 20 days, will not charge or turn on. No way would I recommend purchasing these.

These headphones are perfect for the business traveler. They do not take up a lot of space, but they are much better than earbuds when you have a long flight. Even though they are not noise cancelling, you can still zone out and fall asleep on a plane. The size and weight of these headphones do not take up much space if you are trying to travel light. Also, if anything were to happen to these headphones during travel, you wouldn't be too mad because of the price. Battery life is very good. Very light and comfortable. The sound quality and the bass was very good for headphones at this price point. If you want better audio quality then you will have to pay more. Making and receiving calls went smooth with no problems. The app is needed for the 360 reality audio feature. The setup for the 360 audio is a pain because it requires you to take a picture of your ears. The 360 feature wasn't very impressive when using with my Amazon music premium subscription. I was more happy using the app for the graphic equalizer to tweak the sound just the way I want it. These headphones have officially replaced my earbuds for business travel.

Obsessed! I needed new headphones that are good but don’t break the bank. These are my first Sony’s and won’t be my last. They’re cute, comfortable, neutral and the sound quality is actually so good! I use these for work as a recruiter so I’m always interviewing people and they hear me perfectly fine. My one minor is if you’re bumping over 70% people around you can hear but I’m never playing music that loud, so for me it’s not a deal breaker. Love that it comes with an app to mess with sound settings! Get them!

Had those for just over 2 month and the volume -minus button sticks not allowing them to power up. Can’t return. Sony blows! Used to be a reputable company.

Bought them on sale thought it was a good deal. They worked okay for a month and then one side stopped working. Money in the garbage.

My husband has used these very little in the 3 months he has had them. Now they won’t work at all. Junk.

Did not work. Junk. Volume buttons hard to see. Spend more for a better Sonyproduct.

They are horrible. I would never ever buy them again. Sorry
