I have the other type that sit on the ears and both are great. Battery life is ecellent. I have charged the WH-CH510 only once since I first got them I think these will also have a great battery. Great for music, terrible for wireless PC mic!

Also, these are Sony headphones and they won't even pair with my Playstation 4. I haven't tried the mic with my phone yet, but that's not what I got these for anyhow.

On the microphone settings, select calling connections [Headset (WH-CH710N Hands-Free)]. Depending on the video calling application you are using, calling connections [Headset (WH-CH710N Hands-Free)] or music playback connections [Headphones (WH-CH710N Stereo)] may not be selectable on the speaker or microphone settings, and only [WH-Ch710N] may be displayed. In that case, select [WH-CH710N].
These headphones are designed for music playback. We cannot guarantee that it will work flawlessly with PS4. We recommend using headphones that are designed for game consoles such as our PlayStation headsets for optimum performance. In addition, you can connect these headphones to your television so you can get the audio from your PlayStation. We will take note of your inputs in the improvements to our product.

I purchased this to use only for bluetooth calling. It was a bit much just for phone calls. Then I tried to listen to music and I hit the wall. This sound was not indicative of a Sony Product. Hence why they offered a sound comparison to a audio service that offered better sound quality. UGH!!!

Not as good as it could be

I hear a click and then I see a disconnect notice on my tv, and it can take about four or five pushes of the power button before it actually reconnects. Usually it thinks I want to pair it again. This used to happen once or twice at night, now it happens two or three times an hour. I use my television to watch episodes of shows I review on youtube, and I do this late into the night, and I'd really like to not alienate my neighbors. If you need this for your television, I do not recommend you use it. If you want it for your laptop, it is possible.

Build quality poor. Everything else pretty good

The plastic covering the area of the headphones that allows you to customize the size is prone to breaking if you are not using the headphones at their fully extended size. The second day I had them I noticed a piece of the plastic shell came off, exposing the wires on one side. A week later the same happened on the other side. I use these primarily for working from home, so they weren't abused. I'm disappointed in the build quality. Sound quality, battery, and connecting is all easy/good. Just wish they were built better.
