- Try playing another source on the device. For example, try another music app to see if the issue is with a particular app.
- When you listen to music from a computer on the headset, sound quality may be poor for the first few seconds after a connection is made. This is caused by the computer transmitting music at sound quality for communications at first, and it is not a malfunction.
- Unfortunately, this unit does not support the Sony Headphones Connect app for adjusting the EQ and trying different sound modes.

Our WH-CH710N adjustable metal slider so you can make your headphones the perfect size of you. That means more comfort for long listening. Note: If you put on the headset without adjusting the slider, the headset may not be positioned properly on your head, resulting in discomfort or a weak noise canceling effect.

We'd like to help isolate the issue. If your smartphone or mobile phone supports both HFP and HSP, set it to HFP. Use this headset and the phone as near to each other as possible. Adjusting the headband and the earpads properly can help reduce discomfort while wearing the headphones. We'd love to troubleshoot the issue and make this a better experience for you. For this, please try these steps. First, make sure that the noise cancelling function is turned on. Adjust the headset into a comfortable position.
Please take note that the noise canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.

Thank you for your feedback with the WHCH710N. We regret that we were not able to meet all of your expectations with the headphones. We'd like to help and make this more a better experience. For best sound quality, please try some of these solutions below:

Turn down the volume of the connected device if it is too loud.
Keep the headset away from a microwave oven, wireless LAN device, etc.
Bring the headset closer to the Bluetooth device. Remove any obstacles between the headset and the Bluetooth device.
Switch the Bluetooth connection to A2DP with the connected device when the headset and the transmitting Bluetooth device are connected via an HFP or HSP Bluetooth connection.
If you connect a device with a built-in radio or tuner to the headset, broadcasts may not be received or the sensitivity may be reduced. Move the headset away from the connected device.
If the headset connects to the previously connected Bluetooth device, the headset may only establish the HFP/HSP Bluetooth connection when it is turned on. Use the connected device to connect via an A2DP Bluetooth connection.
When listening to music from a computer on the headset, the sound quality may be poor (e.g., difficult to hear the singer’s voice, etc.) for the first few seconds after a connection is established. This is due to the computer specifications (priority on stable connection at the start of transmission and then switches to priority on sound quality several seconds later) and is not a headset malfunction.
If the sound quality does not improve after a few seconds, use the computer to establish an A2DP connection. As for the operations on your computer, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the computer.
