TERRIBLE QUALITY, EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Thought I was getting one heck of a bargain with the MSRP being $199.99 but the build quality is terrible. Sony has absolutely awful customer service, the worst I’ve yet to come across. Immediately I got the impression that they’re so so flimsy and cheap and also that the headband extenders were way too loose and they wouldn’t stay where I adjusted them to fit my head. After 2 weeks of less than average use, the extenders sliding down my head caused the headband to crack. I called Sony immediately, baffled by how terrible these were just to be told that their limited warranty doesn’t cover anything “physical” as if they just sold me software or something. I’ve hounded them over and over, trying 6 different times to call or live chat with them just to be ultimately told all they can do for me is offer that I pay to have them shipped back to them and me pay for their repair. After 5 months sitting in their original box in my closet I tried it once more and was told the same thing.

I’ve always had cheap Sony headphones before with no problems. Was blown away by the sound quality of these. Never been dropped. Just noticed they are coming apart. Poor design and/or materials. They do disconnect a lot.

Terrible build quality & Sony service

Trying to go through the Sony warranty, but they are trying to say it’s physical damage and not covered by them. I have been at home. No traveling, no commuting, just home use. I’m guessing they would be in even worse shape if I was actually commuting with them.

The downside is the head jack needs to be adjusted once in a while, then you have the plastic cover broke in a week. The best part of the product is the blue bluetooth, the lightweight and the earpads.

This model has a flaw where the band cracks and the cushion comes apart. If you look on Sony's website you'll see multiple reviews mention it. Most have photos that look EXACTLY like my photos. Contacted Sony and they refuse to take care of it. They say its "physical damage"....even though it simply fell apart on its own...due to cheap quality!! Do. Not. Buy. Goodbye, Sony. I have bought Sony electronics for 30+ years. Never again.

Great battery life, easy pairing, good sound quality and noise canceling functions. But I’ve had them for less than a month, wearing only for 2 flights and my day to day desk job, and the headband plastic is already cracked and falling apart.

I felt the price as good and the noise cancelling and overall sound quality was great. Unfortunately, within short time use, the plastic in the inside arm of the headphones cracked...this with minimal and careful use, I even have a especial hard carrying case for it, so was very disappointed on the quality of the product. expected more from Sony. i tried to go through the Sony warranty website and it was not very user friendly and gave up on trying to get the headphones repaired.

Sony Headsets not meant for Sony Consoles

Such as play music well, connect to all my devices, and have a good battery time. However, they will not connect to a SONY PS4. What sense does that make? Sony headphones not being compatible with a Sony console. Yes, they aren't gaming headsets, but if I wanted to watch Netflix on my PS4 I should be able to watch my movie using the headphones I paid for! Do not buy as they cannot connect to their own devices!

The headphones have two ways of connecting, first is by using A2DP Bluetooth profile which will let you connect to your device wirelessly or by using the Headphone Cable jack. If the Playstation model that you wish to connect the headphones with supports these connection it will work with the headphones. The headphones can also be used with Bluetooth televisions as a workaround for directly connecting to any console.
