Good headphones for the price

I got these on sale for around $90 when they usually are close to $200. For the price these are very good. They are over the ear and are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Since I've purchased and have done the initial charge, I have yet to charge them. So their 30 hour use time seems feasible. They have the ability to use a 3.5mm cable so you can still use them if you run out of battery or prefer to hardwire at times. The noise cancelling feature is also good since I use them to tone out my family while I'm reading or working and I can't hear them. The music doesn't particularly have to be very loud either. The one thing you may need to adjust to is learning the button presses to stop, play, skip and go back during playback. Other than that I recommend these headphones.

Phone calls- answering with iPhone menu or with middle right headphone button works fine. People on the other end say the call is perfect. Tried the noise button and ambient settings and they all work as advertised without affecting the voice quality for the phone connection.

I like that it is light in weight and very comfortable to wear. Normally when using other headsets after two to three hours of use, I am ready to take them off from becoming uncomfortable and annoying. These Sony WH-CH710N Wireless Over-the-Ear Noise Canceling Headset sound so amazing and feels great on my head. I now can enjoy hours and hours of listening to my favorite music without any interruption. I also like that I can answer my phone when it is a call coming in. No cords to worry about which makes me free to move around. The battery life is amazing, it holds a charge longer than my smartphone two or three times longer. love them.

It was a great price. This headphone is a definite improvement over my older Sony RF headphones. These over-the-ear headphones are very lightweight and comfortable to wear Sound quality is amazing, very comfortable. Bluetooth functionality was easy and quick connecting to my tv. The voice notification of the blue connect is a good feature.The battery is super long lasting and charge very quickly. The volume level is adequate, however the quality of sound is impressive.

While I haven't had any issue audio quality wise, the exterior has definitely had some issues. Parts of the plastic around the adjustments have fallen off or chipped randomly. I don't manhandle my headphones, so it's weird that they deteriorated like that. Additionally, the buttons to change the volume or pause the song are so close together and I often click the wrong ones. However, the battery power is still excellent. I can usually go up to 2-3 weeks without charging them. I've only had them completely die on me once in the two years I've had them. They don't take long to charge and work perfectly. The noise-cancelling was what interested me initially, and it does a (too good) job of drowning out outside noise. The ambiance can be changed, but I don't usually mess with that. Other than the physical changes it has, these headphones still work great and I use them daily!

I read a number of reviews before making the purchase, and a couple said get the older model Sony 700 as they sound better. Then I read more on the benefits of bluetooth 5.0 vs the older 4.2 bluetooth on the Sony 700's. For me the decision was clear. The new 5.0 blutooth is so much faster and transfers many times the bandwith. They pair and connect easily with all my devices and that's what is important to me. They are comfortable and the noise cancelling works pretty well too. I have only had them a couple of days, but the reviews I read say the battery life is exceptional.

Sony has always done right by me with their products, and the reviews and price were right (they were on sale for 50% off). So, I decided to purchase them. These are the best headphones I’ve ever had. The sound quality is amazing, with deep, symphonic bass. It’s easy to pair, and the buttons are positioned well. The noise-canceling is awesome as it keeps out the ambient sound very well. After charging, I can easily go a week plus without charging. So, the battery is excellent.

I bought them during a pre-Black Friday sale for less than half of retail and I love them. I bought them a week before a business trip because I wanted to see how well noise cancelling headphones blocked the background noise on an airplane. They work great and paired easily and almost instantly with my 8 year old iPad. They make flying much more enjoyable, the build quality seems very good, they are light enough to be comfortable and the ear cups seal very well. I highly recommend these Sony headphones.

The noise cancel isn’t spectacular but effective. Build quality is pretty good, though the inset buttons for control aren’t really that great due to being flushed with the surface but not a deal breaker. Huge PRO: can also have wired connection with the provided cable, so you’re not bound by the availability/ability to operate purely wirelessly. Con/Pro: Time to full charge isn’t lightning fast (con), but a single charge goes quite a long way (pro). Headphones are fairly lightweight and adjustable (esp. if you have a big head), very comfortable for long and extensive wear. Would recommend.

They work well for that and if you watch movies on your flight they will plug into the screen on the plane. They are also have Bluetooth connectivity. They are very easy to pair to phones and computers. I am actually impressed on how well they work for talking on the phone. The muffs are comfortable and the sound is decent. The battery life is real good. I think mine stay charged for something like 30 hours. For the money I think they are a good buy, particularly if you are not using them every day. Bottom line is I would buy them again.

Noise cancellation is ok but not nearly as good as the xm4’s by Sony. But noise cancellation is noticeable unlike other headphones I’ve tried. Purchasing on sale is worth it. But don’t expect pure silence, expect reduced environmental noise and decent sound.

Decent Noise Cancellation and Bass
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony's WH-CH710N noise cancelling headphones offer good noise cancelling and "bassy" sound. They are a bit smaller than you'd imagine them being from the pictures but they are comfortable and have great battery life. They come equipped with a USB Type-C port and a NFC so you can pair them easily with your devices. There is also a 3.5mm jack so you can be plug in your headphones directly to your device. The buttons on the sides of the headphones take some time to get used to as they are designed more to be hidden instead of "used", I think touch controls would've made for better interface interactions. The volume on these headphones isn't what I would call loud, but the noise cancelling offsets most of the noise that would normally distract you. In fact someone was able to sneak up and surprise me while I was listening to music which normally doesn't happen to me! There is also a pass through noise mode that uses the microphones on the headphones to let you hear what's going on around you which is a very nice safety feature. Speaking of the microphones I placed a few phone calls with this headset and got no complaints about the microphone quality. The Sony WH-CH710N's do not currently work with Sony's mobile headphone app so you cannot adjust the equalizer or other headphone related settings, but maybe that functionality will get added in the future. Overall I'm satisfied with the CH710N's as they're comfortable and I don't have to worry much about battery life or other sounds getting in the way of my listening experience.

The "Budget" XM4s

Probably. But for those of you who dont want to spend hours comparing, reading, and watching reviews on different brands with different tradeoffs and just want to walk into your nearest bestbuy get a decent pair of wireless ANC headphones without breaking the bank, you really cant go wrong with these. They dont sound as good, feel as comfortable, or have all the features of the XM4s. But as my title states, they are the budget versions of the XM4s. Imagine the XM4s were half the price....but with 80% of the quality. Thats basically what these are. For the uninitiated, they sound great. The noise cancelling is good enough. Probably a 6.5/10. Theyll work fine on a plane and at work to drown out the HVAC system, but you can still hear construction and people talking around you if theres a lot of them. The part that surprised me the most was the comfortability. These are lightweight and feel pretty similar to the XM4s. And frankly, I prefer the physical buttons for mic/volume control than I do the touch controls of the XM4s. If you're budget is $150 or less, and you want a really great pair of ANC wireless headphones, you cannot go wrong with these.

They are extremely affordable especially if on sale. They are lightweight and don’t squeeze too hard on the ears. Sometimes I even forget I have them on. The noise cancellation is a real plus and the battery life is lasts long.
