      Hi Bukreo,
Thank you for purchasing the WH-CH710N. We regret to hear that we were not able to meet your satisfaction with the headphones. We'd like to help and make this a better experience. As far as your experience with sound quality please try some of these solutions.

Turn down the volume of the connected device if it is too loud.
Keep the headset away from a microwave oven, wireless LAN device, etc.
Bring the headset closer to the Bluetooth device. Remove any obstacles between the headset and the Bluetooth device.
Keep the headset away from a TV.
Switch the Bluetooth connection to A2DP with the connected device when the headset and the transmitting Bluetooth device are connected via an HFP or HSP Bluetooth connection.
If you connect a device with a built-in radio or tuner to the headset, broadcasts may not be received or the sensitivity may be reduced. Move the headset away from the connected device.
If the headset connects to the previously connected Bluetooth device, the headset may only establish the HFP/HSP Bluetooth connection when it is turned on. Use the connected device to connect via an A2DP Bluetooth connection.
When listening to music from a computer on the headset, the sound quality may be poor (e.g., difficult to hear the singer’s voice, etc.) for the first few seconds after a connection is established. This is due to the computer specifications (priority on stable connection at the start of transmission and then switches to priority on sound quality several seconds later) and is not a headset malfunction.
If the sound quality does not improve after a few seconds, use the computer to establish an A2DP connection. As for the operations on your computer, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the computer.

If the effect of noise canceling is not sufficient, please check the following below:
Make sure that the noise canceling function is turned on.
Adjust the headset into a comfortable position.
The noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.

At first I was a bit too quick too judge. I didn’t understand the controls or the concept behind each controls when I did manage to change it. I let it sit. There. Maybe a cheap piece of plastic? Ok. Well upon further inspection. I took the time to be in a quiet room and try each press of the button. Then I played a solid noise on my phone and increased and decreased the volume. I sort of got the hang of it but really don’t have a use for them as they’re not super noise canceling for the price. It’s got great sound. I just wish they spent a bit more on R&D and quality than on profit with this one. I started saying at first I was a bit too quick to judge and I truly was because initially, I was going to give it a strongly worded review against it. After taking the time to learn noise canceling and ambient sound controls, I understoodwhy they made the headphones this way. I liked them. I enjoyed the Bluetooth feature as well. The battery was absolutely amazing because I left it in for about a day and a half and since it wasn’t constantly in use it was still constantly connected to my laptop via Bluetooth. So I know it drained the battery to some extent and that was about 20% from the initial charge. Given my experience, price point, and knowledge of this line of headphones I think it’s almost a bit too pricey but right at the tip of worth it.

A $200 pair of noise canceling headphones that were on sale for $88 the Sony - WH-CH710N are without a doubt absolutely the worst headphones that I've ever had the misfortune of buying.......and I've bought cheap $15-$25 Bluetooth headphones that felt better. First: they're very uncomfortable on my ears Second: they're extremely uncomfortable on my head. Third: the noise canceling seems a poor ineffective imitation, it does absolutely nothing but have a sort of white noise hiss all the time that somehow gets worse with music on. In short: I wouldn't recommend these to anyone unless you hate the person you're giving them to.

The look of these headphones are sharp, but not worth the trouble when wearing them. They don’t fold up, for easy travel. They don’t visually show that they are on unless you are wearing them, making it hard to enjoy for my littles. They don’t allow you to connect more than one to a device. They were comfortable at the beginning of my trip, but by the end a piece on the inside speaker section started putting pressure on my ear among it uncomfortable.

The Sony WH-CH710N headphones look nice however they appear a little lacking on the material build quality. They were simple and easy to set up, the instructions that came with the headphones are picture only and have no written directions. If you’re having trouble following the picture (only) instructions, that came with the headphones, you will need to go online and view the written instructions. The lack of good written instructions is common with a lot of products today, making it hard for some people to own these products if they don’t have access to a tablet or computer and contrary to believe there are still people who don’t have tablets or computers. You can set up and use Google or Alexa, we chose Alexa and it has worked very well. Pros: Fairly good sound Google, Siri, or Alexa assistance. Supports NFC Comfortable OK noise canceling/ambient sound control if listening to music. Ability to hard wire to a device with the 1.2 m, stereo mini plug. 30 + hours on one full charge. Cons: I found the NC and Ambient sound quality a little lacking, seemed intermittent at times. These aren't Hi-Res Audio headphones The three buttons used for sound controls (volume/pause/answer a call) are located on lower back side of the right ear cup and I find it hard to distinguish one from the other when attempting to control the sound or answer a phone call. My hands are big so this may be the reason I have this problem. With my android cell phone on my side, and listening to music, the headphones continually lost Bluetooth connection when outside. It did not do this while inside the house. Short USB-to-USB C cable No case for the headphones. Note: I’ve never had to deal with Sony regarding warranty issues of any type so I cannot write anything regarding their service. Not sure where to place this, very clear sound when making or receiving a phone call however the person on the other end of the calls complained of magnified sounds from my surroundings, such as birds chirping, or placing something down on a cabinet. Changing the NC/AMB did not resolve this issue. I would not recommend the WH-CH710N at this time due to the Bluetooth issue.

The headphones are cute and appear practical. Unfortunately the plastic slider broke from one side which I now realize is common with these headphones. Also the cushion around the earpiece is very cheap and peels quickly. I don’t know if Sony replaces these parts or will they provide a new pair of headphones in exchange. They are pretty pricey for that cheap material and from such a reputable name as SONY, it’s unbelievable.

Causes cranial pain if worn on head, beware. The sound and noise cancellation works as advertised.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Hi Ryan, While we're glad you like the amazing sound quality and noise canceling feature of your Sony WHCH710N, we regret to hear you find the Sony WHCH710N uncomfortable to wear. These headphones features soft, oval-shaped ear pads and has an adjustable metal slider, so you can make your headphones the perfect size for you. That means more comfort for long listening.
I would also suggest checking out our other noise canceling headphones such as the WH1000XM4 and WH1000XM5 and test them in store to see which Sony headphones are most comfortable for you. Hope this helps and thanks for sharing your feedback. -Sam Sony_US
