    I would not give a 1 star had there been an option for "0 stars". Not a reliable brand at all. I had a different model of Sony headphones , and it broke by the hinge. Reached out to both US and Japan headquarters about the issue. Received a reply email stating that the Sony engineers agree that there is a defect with the product, but they cannot exchange it because it was out of warranty. If a product has a defect, and company admits it, then why does not matter what the purchase date it. Anyway I highly recommend to stay away from sony headphones in general.

    audio problems after only six months

    I bought these headphones in January and loved them. The audio now drops randomly for several seconds at a time. The audio issue is becoming more frequent and longer in duration. These headphones retailed for $199 in January. That is too much money to pay for something that will break after six months. I would expect this from a generic manufacturer but not Sony. People buy name-brand products from manufacturers such as Sony to get a quality product that will last for years. If the production value has decreased this much at Sony, then I will just buy the generic products instead to save money.

    Very Poor Sound Quality

    Very bad sound quality. I do not know if it is a defect on the one i purchased or the same with all of them. It had a metallic sound to them with almost no treble. I wouldn't buy them again.

    Had to return

    These were not very comfortable and they didn't connect to my laptop effectively at all. People talking to me said they heard everything around me better than me, and I tried adjusting setting, reconnecting, rebooting. No change. It also would disconnect the call frequently, and I had to disconnect and reconnect the headphones to make another call with them. I had to return this item. I only made one call with them connected to my phone.

Adjusting the headband and the earpads properly can help reduce discomfort while wearing the headphones. When using the headphones on a computer and for phone calls, you need set Hands-free Profile (HFP) or Headset Profile (HSP) on the devices that are intended for voice calls. You also need to make sure that the Speaker and Microphone settings are set correctly. Bluetooth communication may be disable if the headphones and connected device is too far from each other and there is an obstacle, such as metal or a wall, between the headset and the Bluetooth device.     Very uncomfortable

    Just bought these headphones and they initially feel fine but after any period of time my ears were in too much pain to continue wearing. I'd think for this price they could add more padding so that my ear was not touching the inside harder parts. If you don't mind some ear pain I'm sure they are okay headphones. Am returning because I cannot use these for longer than 30 min.

    Thanks for three weeks of listening Best Buy

    I purchased two pairs of these three weeks ago. One set now has a non functioning right ear. Buttons work fine on both sides. No problem pairing Bluetooth. The headphones just no longer work in any meaningful way after just three weeks of light use. To say that I am disappointed that I was not only sold this product but suggested it by a Best Buy employee is an understatement. I spend far too much money at Best Buy to be sold such an inferior product. I own the premium version of these headphones, and they are great. These are absolute trash.

      We're sorry to know you've been running into difficulty. We would like to know a little bit more detail about the situation you faced with the headphones and turn this into a better experience. Unfortunately, this unit does not support the Sony Headphones Connect app for changing the settings such as the noise canceling function and ambient sound mode.

      You can enjoy wireless freedom with BLUETOOTH technology and these also include headphone cable for Wired Connection. When using the headphone cable, the Bluetooth function cannot be used. You can listen to music even if the headset is turned off. In this case, the noise canceling function cannot be used. To use the noise canceling function/Ambient Sound Mode, turn the headset on.

    Software and hardware issues. Buyer beware.

    Got this as a gift and was super stoked at first. But within month or so the feature allowing you to answer phone calls stopped working. Then the plastic part of the headband cracked in several places on both sides. I've owned this thing for maybe two and a half months. Way too many problems. And because I threw away the box, I don't think I can access any warranty -- if it even has any. Cheaply made for the price.
