Comfortable and light weight. Just not loud enough.

I bought this for my husband birthday, and after almost a year now, he is still using it, not problem with it. Still working great.

This Sony wireless headset is, in word, outstanding. It says “Extra Bass” in big bold letters on the box, and I would not disagree. While the instructions suggest that you download the Sony Headphones Connect app, you don’t need to to start using these. They came out of the box with sufficient charge to use them right away, and I had them paired to my smartphone in 15 seconds. Sony calls these “over-the-ear,” but, to my mind, they’re more a cross between over-the-ear and on-the-ear. They have large, soft pads around a small-ish opening for the speakers. So they sit ON your ears, but they cover your ear openings completely the way over-the-ear styles do. Whatever, you want to call them, I found them to be very comfortable, and that, to my mind, is at least as important as sound quality. But good sound is pretty much a given with a brand-name audio component while level of comfort is definitely a product-by-product distinction. I’m going to have these phones on my head for good length of time, and I don’t want to have to be constantly adjusting them to maintain comfort. I expect no such issues with these as I use them. They are very light, easy to adjust, and fit almost unnoticeably over my ears. I played several songs through my smartphone, and the sound quality is fine, with good bass and good exclusion of exterior sounds. The box includes a mini-plug audio cable for direct, wired connection if you want to listen to an audio source that does not have Bluetooth capability. Also included is a USB to USB-C adapter for charging purposes as these phone accept only a USB-C connection. Overall, I love these headphones, and I’ll be using them constantly. I could not give them a higher recommendation.

I bought the Sony WH-XB700 wireless headphones for my wife. She is extremely happy with them! The quality is excellent.

I picked these up on sale for $80. They sound great. I like the USB-C. They are not over the ear style so they can get hot.

Well, they sound okay. Not exceptionally loud or crisp, but for $75 they do okay. I bought them to connect directly to my turntable. Since they are “powered”, I thought they work. Unfortunately, you can’t control the volume when you connect to the 3.5 jack on the turntable. I’m using them via Bluetooth and the sound is good. I just like all the analog sound vinyl has to offer and I feel like you lose that via Bluetooth.

Great sound for the headphones. I refuse to buy beats so these were my next choice and they are really good!!!
