These are good sounding and light weight. Easy to wear for a long time. Foldable flat ear pieces, makes it much easier to store and minimize damage. Connects instantly to phone and I have worn for hours without a recharge Don’t lose the charging cable though. It is USB-C and not a micro sub

    Sony XB700 Over Ear Headphone

Been testing out these headphones for about 2 weeks now and Sony has another great set of headphones on their hands. The controls on these headphones are very minimal and simple and pretty much self-explanatory. Battery life is amazing with up to 30 hours of continuous playback time. Charging has been fairly quickly. My only gripe which is not a dealbreaker is I wish Sony would have made the controls on the earcuffs outlined in silver to make it easier to identify them. The controls are black and it makes a little difficult to see at times. Call quality and sound was very impressive for a nice set of headphones in this price range. Along with the headphones in the box is a microUSB charger. I would recommend these headphones for anyone looking for a great set with a nice price.

A classic looking mid-range wireless headphones with extra Bass. It is very comfortable, light weight, with sleek design. You can connect using NFC and Bluetooth to connect to devices. It has long lasting battery. I used it for few days and still haven't charged it. It also comes with quick charge for instant charging. You can also use these headphones to answer calls with the built-in mic and it works quite well without any noise or disturbance. The customization of this headphones is done via Sony Headphones Connect app. And if you use Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, this headphones do support them and you can use the Connect app to set the custom button to invoke the voice assistant. The best part is that it uses USB C to charge. This headphone also comes with 3.5 mm audio cable so you can use this wired when you run out of charge. Overall, a quality headphones from Sony without breaking your bank.

for the price these are a nice headset. bass is nice on these, so if you are a bass person like I am, then you will love these. mid and high range is not the best, but not bad either. the ear cups are a bit small though so its more of a on the ear which I prefer over the ear myself. but they are light and comfortable. it also came with a aux cord so if don't have Bluetooth you can still use. a few things why 4 star. the charging cord is small. like 6 inches or so. so you cant charge and wear at the same time. also makes it hard to charge at a wall outlet unless you have a extension or something. other wise you are stuck with it being close to whatever you use to charge it with. it also only came with the cord itself and not a block to plug into. and no case for it.

It quit working just after return time allowance. We called Sony for help. They said it was defective and we should return. I returned it as they instructed. Tracked the return. Was told who signed for it. Haven't heard anything since. I'm going to call and check on it next week. To my sense we wasted our money. We have nonproduct. Your short return time is not good.

First off these are not over the ear but ok ear headphones. These headphones are a nice pair of headphones that are budget friendly and nice to see that it has USB type C now instead of micro USB. These are extra bass headphones so it has pumping bass which isn’t surprising but these sound pretty good with the mids and treble as well for the cost of them. You don’t have much spacial separation which isn’t uncommon with on ears anyways and closed backed headphones but for $129 it’s not bad. These are very light weight and has little to no clamping force so I would watch out if you’re moving your head. These have an advertised battery life of around 30 hours and so far they haven’t disappointed. I get around 27-28 hours which isn’t bad at all.

The Sony WH-XB700 is a wireless Bluetooth headphone that offers tremendous value, great sound, excellent comfort and adjustable audio equalization. The EXTRA BASS feature models the audio characteristics of larger, heavier and more expensive headphones. It is selected by the free SONY App on your phone or tablet. I tested these phones using the very latest iPhone XS MAX and I found them extremely enjoyable. I highly recommend the SONY WH-XB700 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones as an excellent value added listening device and it earns 5 Stars.

Sony has made a quality wireless headset here. Obviously Sony has been an innovator of products throughout the years. With this wireless headset, they bring a quality sound with excellent quality of bass and midrange to these headphones. You can pay more to get greater quality, but at some point the price you pay for product has to match the quality improvements that you receive. I have found that a charge lasts at least The 30 hours that Sony claims. I use this for both listening to music as well as watching TV when I don’t want to disturb people around me. I recommend these wireless headphones to anyone looking in this price range.

    Sound That Will Not Disappoint!

Over the years, I have tested many bluetooth headphones ranging from the cheap knock off brands to the high end ones. For the last week, I've been using the Sony XB700 headphones and I have to say, they rock! The ear cups are comfortable, battery life is phenomenal, bluetooth connection is solid and quick. The sound is shockingly better than the more expensive, high end headphones and my favorite part, it has quick charging using a USB C connector. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it didn't come with a case.

    Very Nice Unit

These are my 3rd pair of Sony headsets. I have one set that is a little lower, and one set that is a couple steps above this model, so I have a fair amount of Sony experience to compare too... That said, these are attractive, comfortable, easy to use units. As always, they have good Sony quality and great Sony sound. This unit has a little better sound and comfort than the model below, but the XB Extra Bass is where these really stand out. You really can tell the extra bass. It is well rounded and (at least to my ear) not overbearing. The one area I would like to see these improved is to offer active noise cancelling. The higher end Sony I have is Sony - XB950N1 from Best Buy.and they do have the active noise cancelling, but also are a little more comfortable and offer overall better sound. Please don't read that as these Sony - XB700 have bad sound, but just that considerably pricier Sony's have a little better sound, as should be expected.. End of the day, these are excellent mid-budget headphones that depending on your need, you can't go wrong with. For most applications these are great. However, if you do a lot of air-travel, the active noise cancellation offered on other Sony headsets may justify the additional cost. If you don't do much air travel, these are an excellent choice. I would highly recommend them to a friend. Disclaimer: This product was provided free, or at reduced cost, for the purpose of reviewing the product. Positives> + Lightweight design + Good bass response. + Custom Button for voice assist, Google assist or Amazon Alexa. + Surround modes, bass level and sound position control from app. + Fairly comfortable and not excessive clamping force for big heads. + Solid battery life and Bluetooth connection Negatives> - All plastic with an aluminum band inside the headband - A bit lacking in clarity and detail in the upper mids and highs. - No case included (something Sony doesn't even include on premium models) - No dedicated EQ in the Music Center/Headphones Connect app. Overall, these are some very solid on-ear wireless cans. I'm not particularly fond of most on-ear headphones, but these XB-700's are a pair I can appreciate. The Sony Music Center app allows you to change some settings, but the lack of a dedicated EQ for these headphones is disappointing, considering the Sony Bluetooth speaker SRS-XB-32 I have uses the same app and has a dedicated EQ. Sound quality is typical of Sony cans in the XB line. Good bass response, but the clarity of the highs and detail is a bit lacking. Upper range isn't bad by any means, but compared to some other brands the detail is less. Build quality is pretty much all lightweight plastic. I wouldn't be too rough on these, as this all plastic design with other Sony headphones in the past has proven to be a bit on the fragile side. The ear cups will lay flat, but these do not fold up. A fold up design with a small case included would have been a good move. Comfort wise these are not bad for on-ear and I give them the "big head" seal of approval. For anybody who likes on-ear wireless cans, the XB700 is definitely one to put on the short list. I would take these over the similar and more expensive Beats Solo3.

These headphones has more bass than any other headphones I’ve owned. The bass is rich and clean. Battery life is outstanding. My only gripe is how they fit while wearing them. It claims to be over the ear headphones, but my ear entire ear does not fit inside the ear cup like other over the ear headphones I own. They fit more like on ear headphones. Other than that, they’re a solid set of headphones.
