    Sony headphones have always been my "go to" because of the clear crisp sound with extra base. The rechargeable battery charges quickly and holds that charge for about 30 hrs of use. BT 4.2 easily connects with all my equipment. They are very comfortable with a great fit.

    This item sits well between the cheap headset and the expensive one. It is good for wireless gaming sessions. Unless your ears are tuned to only listen to the best music out in the world, this will not be a good purchase. However, if you don’t concern about the finest detail of FLAC version of music, you will be very happy.

  • Bad choice for windows laptop

    This does not work well with windows laptops... mic volume levels are very low so i cannot use this with my laptop. I tried all debugging but no luck.

One of the possible solutions to the issue is by updating the firmware of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance. The software update improves the general performance of the unit and includes key features, applications, and bug fixes. For instructions, please visit our support website at https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/wireless-headphones-bluetooth-headphones/wh-xb900n/downloads.

      For low sound level issue with your Laptop, if you haven't yet, please try following the steps below to isolate and fix the problem.

      • Check that the A2DP function which supports music playback connections is enabled in the computer settings. For more details, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the computer.
      • Also, try updating the audio drivers on the PC and see if that helps. Refer to the laptop's manufacturer for assistance.
      • When connecting, [WH-XB900N], [LE_WH-XB900N], or both may be displayed on the connecting device. When both or [WH-XB900N] is displayed, select [WH-XB900N]; when [LE_WH-XB900N] is displayed, select [LE_WH-XB900N].
      • If the behavior continues, delete the headset pairing information on your computer and perform the pairing again.
