• Make sure that the noise canceling function is turned on.
• Adjust the earpad position to fit your ears.
• The noise canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.
You can also change the settings of the noise canceling function and the Ambient Sound Mode with the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app.

There is some annoying beeping and sensitive touch pad on the ear, but was able to make modifications through the app and got used to the touchpad. Definitely worth it

I wish they fit more snug and even on the smallest setting. The sound quality is great but the buttons can be a little sensitive since I have to grab from falling off during workouts.

The first thing I noticed is the speed at which they charge and the amount of playing time the battery allows. The second thing was the first time I put them on. Immediate silence! The noise canceling features are great. Any ambient noise was immediately gone, but with some fine tuning with the app, I could still hear my wife talking to me. The sound quality is great for me. I like clear treble and strong bass. Some have complained that the mids are muddled by the strong bass, but I don’t notice it. I’m very eclectic in my listening and I haven’t come across a style of music that hasn’t sounded great on these. Comfort and simplicity is key when listening for extended periods. This headset is plush and relatively lightweight. So far, these have been very comfortable. I haven’t come to a point yet where they’ve been uncomfortable. The touch keypad is commonsense, but take a look at the manual to understand what each fingerswipe will do. They all make sense, but knowing will help. Download the app. Do yourself a favor and download it. It does way too much not to. You will be missing out on a ton of features without it. I can’t wait to use these on a plane trip! Highly recommended!

They are amazingly annoying with constant chimes and pauses in sound delivery. Especially when 1st listening. I never get used to it.

To resolve this issue, please make sure that your headphones are running on the latest firmware version (via Sony Headphones Connect app). There is also [Notification & Voice Guide] from the Dashboard on the Headphones Connect app to set the notification and voice guidance to be heard or disabled from the headphones.
Set the headset to “Priority on stable connection” mode. The audio playback on this unit may be delayed from that on the transmitting device, due to the characteristics of Bluetooth wireless technology.
