• Make sure that the noise canceling function is turned on.
• Adjust the earpad position to fit your ears.
• The noise canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.
You can also change the settings of the noise canceling function and the Ambient Sound Mode with the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app.

My other Sony headphones never had this issue. But overall, if you get them on a discount for half a price, they are not so bad.

That is where your eardrums work hard to manage the volume that flows through your ear canal. The louder the volume, the bigger the strain on your eardrums, which then causes the feeling of fatigue. You may need to lower the volume or take a break from wearing them for a while.

However, 2 of my kids take turns using them for Zoom classes :) They are definitely "Noise Cancelling" have to get pretty close for the kids to hear me calling them. :) They are a bit pricey, but worth it.

She has loved them since for various projects or for working out. We are about 4 months in and she is starting to have some issue with the left speaker sounding like it’s shorting out. We’ll see how Sony’s warranty is but I bought the protection plan too in case they aren’t helpful.

Can not control the touch sensor accurately and there is not in app ability to disable it. Besides this point the sound quality, feel, and value of these on sale is competitive, I will buy Sony brand headphones again.

Can turn off ANC

For all those who feel weird pressure in the ears with ANC, there is a way turn it off in this headphone. I wish the battery was a fast charging and lasted longer. But that's what you get for the money.

Make sure to use a commercially available USB AC adaptor capable of supplying an output current of 0.5 A (500 mA) or a personal computer with a standard USB port for charging. When connecting the headset to a computer, use only the supplied USB Type-C cable, and be sure to directly connect them. Charging will not be properly completed when the headset is connected through a USB hub.

I like that it also has head phone jacks so that I can have lag free videos on my computer. Also works great with my cellphone.
