Sony was quick to help me RMA the product and exchange it for a new device. However, this should speak to the build quality; if not for this fact it would be a 5/5

Worthless on a desktop the Bluetooth is buggy everything I alt tab or switch to a new tab on chrome the headset screamed at me. Aux cord they give you is shorter then my arm.

We're sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your XB900N headphones. We appreciate your feedback regarding the noise cancellation of this unit. To ensure optimal performance with noise canceling, please refer to the steps and guidelines below:
• Make sure that the noise canceling function is turned on.
• Adjust the earpad position to fit your ears.
• The noise canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.
You can also change the settings of the noise canceling function and the Ambient Sound Mode with the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app.
If the issue still occurs, please make sure that your headphones are running on the latest firmware version. The software includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements. Very overpriced save your money

These things have a premium price with mediocre performance. The noise-canceling is so-so and fails when compared to the $99 Soundcore headphones. The fit is comfortable, but they have don't have volume controls on them (the XR does). And in perhaps the greatest insult, these $249 headphones come with a storage bag..a freaking little bag. The $99 Soundcore headphones come with a solid case. I feel like Sony completely missed the boat here.
