Impressive sound quality, overall high quality look and feel. Little details were thought through. I love the way aux cord inserted under angle keeps the cord close to shoulder so it doesn't interfere with arms. Bluetooth range is excellent (work anywhere in the house). The "Music Center" and "Headphones" apps are very useful, although I wish they were combined into one app.

I was able to take these headphones with me on vacation. First and foremost, the sound is fantastic. Unlike some other brands, these Sony headphones deliver plenty of bass without overdoing it. Sound is clear and the bass doesn't overcome the other dynamics of the music you're listening to. And the noise cancelling? Excellent. I used these headphones on a flight and they definitely filtered out the typical flight noise. Considering the standard size of cans lately, these headphones aren't the biggest. That's a good thing. They're still big! But they also cover my ears comfortably. Some other stuff I love about them: 1) USB-C power. YES! Step into the modern world and ditch that micro-USB plug! 2) Soft Case. The headphones fold "flat" and slip inside a soft case with good lining. I'm actually thinking I like this case better than a fat hard case that doesn't fit into anything. 3) Auto power off. 4) You can override the noise reduction and quiet the audio by putting your hand over the right headphone. During a commute where you want to hear announcements, this comes in handy. 5) NFC connectivity. 6) Also comes with an audio cable in case you want/need to use the headphones without all the power drain. 7) The companion app. Oh yes, the companion app. This allows you to really configure the headphones, set up audio profiles, etc. The app is one of the real gems, especially when playing with the spacial audio. You can really set up some amazing sound.

AMAZING value especially when on sale. Noise cancelling is great. Almost on par with Bose and other expensive models. Very comfy and being able to tune the bass for a more balanced response makes these headphones incredible

Love these! Definitely my new go-to for travel such as flights. The noise-canceling feature works incredibly well - I will definitely be using these for travel versus my AirPods. The sound on these is fantastic as well - among the best of any headphones I've used. I would recommend downloading the Sony Headphones app, as there are some really cool adjustments you can make to get these to sound even better. All in all, HIGHLY recommended. Buy a pair today!

I dont have enough thumbs to give the thumbs up these deserve. Sound quality is amazing. Canceling ability is stellar. I run heavy equipment wearing them. Only bad thing i can say is i wont be able to hear if something on the machine is breaking. That is how good these are. Set up is simple. Operation is even easier.

The headphones are comfortable to wear and have good build quality. I have used them for almost 3 years without any issues. The sound quality s great and I also love having the option of using Aux/Bluetooth.

I’ve used Sony’s 700 and 1000 series before, and now the 900s, so let’s compare… The 700 series didn’t have very good noise cancelling. My girlfriend would run the water in the sink, and I heard it like my head was in the sink. The 1000 series almost entirely eliminates the sound of the water. The 900 is in the middle, but closer to the 1000s. The noise-cancelling is good, but not quite as good as the 1000 series. For the sound quality, I think all of the offerings from Sony have great sound. The only point that bothered me with these was their “extra bass” focus, which definitely adds bass, but it tends to sound superficial. It works well with electronic and pop music, but can sound odd when listening to easier acoustic music or podcasts. Otherwise, the sound quality is very nice. If you spend time digging through the EQ settings in the Sony app, you may be able to dial this in to your liking. The feel of the headphones themselves is definitely a less premium experience than the 1000 series. Where the 1000s have smoother plastic, metal, and nicer leather, the 900s have rough plastic all over, no metal, and thin-feeling leather. This goes to the 1000s, hands down. The controls on these headphones work just like all of the others from Sony. Swipe your finger across the cup to move forward, back, volume up, or volume down. Double-tap to play/pause/answer/hang-up. Great intuitive controls. The app does add some functionality, but generally I just find it annoying. These headphones adjust noise-cancelling when you’re walking or sitting. Unfortunately, every time it switches, you get a chime in your hears. So, if you’re getting up and down from a desk with regularity, you’ll be getting these chimes all the time. It’s better to just turn off this functionality. Overall, I’d say that these aren’t worth the relatively small difference in price when comparing to the 1000 series, which has been around for a few years now and can regularly be found on sale.

I love these things! They sound so amazing and they’re so comfortable. I’ve tried other over the ear headphones and have had to return them because they were uncomfortable and I would end up with a migraine. Not these, though! I can’t work out in them though because they’re not sweet resistant and they tend to slide off if I’m doing any exercise laying on my back or planks.. those types of things. Which sucks because I love them and want to use them working out. I also wish they looked a little more like the WH-1000XM4s.. but those are my only complaints!! I love them

They have really good sound quality and noise cancelation. They do take quiet a beating. Keep them in a safe place because of wear and tear.

Bought these while they were on sale, anc is alright but once your music is on you can't hear anything, sound quality is really great, a lot better than the quiet comfort 35s in my opinion and i love the app settings, you can change a lot of different things including the eq.
