However the noise cancelling is nowhere worth the full price of admission. On sale it's passable. Materials on headphones do feel very plasticy and cheap for the full price. On sale again passable. If you can get these on sale I'd say pick them up, but don't pay full price.

However, the directions for turning on the noise canceling are confusing and the vocal messages were hard to understand. I was left with guessing how many times to push the noise canceling button, and whether I needed to press the on button. Also, the written directions are not clear.

Clear sound and easy to use once I understood how to set up the Bluetooth. Only thing is it doesn’t hold the charge for very long. I charge them everyday if I want to use them while in bed so as not to disturb anyone else in the house. Charge doesn’t last all night though so I don’t use them until it’s really late.

Sony headphone are killers

Once you take a grip to the controls and all the features in the app (doesn't take that much), you'll love them, no more complaints about the bulkiness (I come from the XB950s), great sound and even if they are not the XM3, they do have pretty good ANC, and even if they are for bass lovers, I listen to all kinds of music and podcasts and YouTube and everything sounds tremendously good

I was surprised. They sound very nice compared to some other headphones I have and the noise cancelling actually works pretty well. We are pretty happy with these.

I own a Bose QC and couple few good studio monitors from Sennheiser and Audio Technica. Its more modern with lots of convenient features. Works well with Alexa. Battery charge seems to be excellent. Bottom line, with all technology updates, Sony did not compromise the sound quality of this headphone. I listen to these between 1 - 2 hours on a daily basis and they are comfortable to wear without any fatigue.

Decent but broke

My issue resides in the fact the part that lets you slide the earcups out to adjust for your head broke, so if you slide out too far it pops out completely hanging by a wire. You would image this part would be strong enough to be repeatedly open and fit onto ones head (from wearing around the neck) but it's all made of plastic so maybe to be expected. Lasted 1.5 years so not the worst time frame but definitely upgrading to metal (dont care about weight).
