They are more comfortable to sleep with. The sound is good even with bass. But months later they broke when adjusting.

Great noise cancelling headphones

I was disappointed they didn't come with a case and found I was discouraged from traveling with them as they didn't fold down small enough. This headphones resolves both issues. I used it recently for travel and it worked great. The 700 and 900 are equally comfortable and the sound/noise cancelling is great on both.

Better than Beat Studios

Let me just tell you if you compare these side by side with Beats Studios there is no comparison. The Sony's have a much more rich and powerful sound by far. I did get them on sale which made these an impulse buy. Overall I am satisfied with these headphones. The build quality is great and they are also very comfortable on the ears. They have very good sound and punchy bass. The noise cancellation is good but not as good as the wh-1000xm4's. But that's why there's a price difference. Either way the 900n's are very good and highly recommended.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.During this Covid Season I've found myself having a little bit of time on my hands, time to do some research (on YouTube), and watch tons of reviews on the "Best" headphones on the market. As of the time of this writing, the Sony XM-4's are considered the BEST in ANC technology, and I must agree! HOWEVER!... They were lacking the most essential part of good music.. The BASS! So after some more research and a few bad experiences, I ended up purchasing these Sony WH-XB900N's. I love them! They offer the same quick response rate as the XM-4's, like changing a track from one to the next (Swipe forward) and bam in a matter of milliseconds I'm on to the next track. Oh!.. Need google assistant? click the "Custom" button, and BAM!! Googlia is ready to execute what ever it is you desire, and once you let go of the button, she reacts immediately. One thing I do miss is the Noise Cancellation on here is not as premium as the XM-4's. I also miss the "Speech to Talk" feature from the XM-4's, (When you start talking to someone BAM!! in a matter of milliseconds, the XM-4's would turn on ambient sound, and pause your music.) These don't do that, but that's okay, the Bass is what I wanted, and that is what I'm getting with these. They don't have that punchy bass that the Skull Candy Crushers have, but the material isn't as cheap either.
