Comfortable and great sound

Very comfortable, even after hours of wear. Charge lasts a long time and then quick to recharge. Love the fact you can mute the play by simply placing your hand over the right ear. Cons: Not so great noise cancelling. Great as long as volume is up but during low volume levels background noise, sound is apparent. Conclusion: Would I buy again or recommend these? Most definitely! So much so I bought a pair for my wife and she loves them.

They are almost as good as the XM4's but I have 0 complaints here. The sound quality is superb and the extra bass makes a world of difference. It is not over the top at all, it is perfectly balanced! I now take these headphones everywhere I go.

great sound and ANC quality

And it also including an "ambient mode" where it actually BRINGS the external sounds in, which is very useful if you are talking to other people with these on, or talking on the phone. However, the 3.5mm wired-connection jack did NOT work... I tried 2 different cables and 2 different source devices, and also a different headphones pair - it's definitely the 3.5 connector in this unit... considering exchanging it. But am definitely happy with the sound quality and ANC functionality! Definitely recommend!

Please allow us to help you and turn this into a better experience. Please make sure to update the software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance. The software includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements.
When you connect a playback device to the headphone cable input jack with the supplied headphone cable be sure to connect the L-shaped plug into the connecting device. If you haven't yet, please try following the steps below to isolate and fix the problem.
- Check that the headphone cable is connected firmly.
- When using the headphone cable, the Bluetooth function cannot be used.
- Turn up the volume if it is too low.
- You can operate the touch sensor control panel only for Quick Attention Mode while connecting a device via the supplied headphone cable and turning the headset on. Perform operations, such as adjusting the volume and play/pause, on the playback device. When turning off the headset, you cannot use the touch sensor control panel.

ANC is not as good at the top dogs but for over $100 cheaper, I don't mind. They still block a good amount of noise and with the bass these things pump out, you will not even notice. Love the dark grey color too.

Has more features than really needed. If you go another pair you might miss those extra features. The only feature missing is the ability to rewind and forward tracks from the headphones. This is why I prefer buttons over touch. However the touch controls are as good as switches of old.
