These headphones are great! I've enjoyed Sony headphones for a long time but peeled away a while back towards Beats for their richer low ends. After reading many reviews on the XBs and recent sale on them I couldn't pass the opportunity. As many reviewers posted these headphones sound very good and the bass is on par with Beats IMO. The ANC works very well for this tier. The construction/material is mostly plastic however this a light headphone and comfortable. The Sony Headphone app is useful from adjusting the ANC sensitivity to preset or manually adjusting the equalizer, battery life. Speaking of battery life is excellent, using these for a few hours a day and I'm on my 2nd week and still hovering around 50%. The battery status seems to be set on incremental percentage. It'll stay at 100% for a long while then drop to 70% for a while and then 50%...

I actually bought 3 pairs. One for my son, brother in law and myself. The sound is very good. I also own the 1000’s but anted a pair for work and an extra pair for when we travel. Both my son and BIL work for the airlines and thought the noise canceling worked really well and were very comfortable on their flights. I love the adaptive noise cancelling and the accompanying app for the eq and other settings. The build is not as good as the 1000s but the xtra bass is awesome. I have recommended these to several people so far.

The sound from these headphones is as good as I've ever heard. I've only had them a little over a week and am not even considering returning them. I have used them several times and have not had to charge the battery a second time yet. There are less expensive headphones available that sound great but these have a feature that most do not: noise cancelling. I have had other headphones with this feature but they cut out loud noise some but not enough. The noise cancelling in these is sufficient to bring the noise from a loud group of about a dozen people in a coffee shop to little more than a background whisper. Another feature of the headphones is to allow noises around you to be heard. This is useful if you are in an area where you need to be aware of what is going on around you or need to be able to hear when someone speaks to you. The headphones have a built in microphone and can be used to answer incoming calls if connected to a phone. I have not used this feature so I don't know how well it works. I do have one minor complaint about these headphones. There are touch controls to adjust volume and start or stop your music. The controls are on the right ear piece but the surface is smooth so finding the right place to touch can be challenging. It's not a major problem and I'm sure I'll get used to using it eventually but it can be annoying.

Great Headphones. It has noise cancelling but it is not as good as the best in class 1000XM4 or Bose. I got it at half the price at sale so it is worth it at that cost. The sound quality is not exception, you won't hear everything crystal clear, but it is decent. The bass is good as expected. The main con is no Bluetooth 5.0 so no multiple device support. They are quite comfortable to wear so no problem there. Overall, a very good pair of headphones to buy on sale.

I’ve owned a Sony MDR-XB950BT for several years and decided to upgrade to the WH-XB900N. I was first surprised at the poor quality of the material used when I opened the box but the sound quality almost makes up for it. The ability to make adjustments using an app is a plus- and it works with Amazon Alexa too. The headphones are very comfortable and snug over the ears, the cushions feel great. A standout feature for me is the fact that you can check the battery level just by pressing the power button while the headphones are on.

These are really good headphones. I mean really good. I liked the comfort. And The controls are what you'd expect from Sony.The only thing is, if you've ever tried the big brother to these, it's hard to settle. But honestly, these are some top notch headphones. Just remember to download that app. That makes the whole experience worth the bucks. The design is the same as the predecessors before it, so you know that's a positive thing. Ii just wish they were water resistant. That would make them great for workouts and rainy days. If you're remotely interested or intrigued by these, I have to say, you won't be disappointed. There's simply obvious room for improvement. Extremely impressed, these are the best headphones I’ve ever owned up to this point, sound quality is amazing, very immersive, and incredibly comfortable, built in app automatically adjusts noice canceling to your environment. Battery life is great.

It’s been a month since I bought these. They work great with the wireless transmitter I bought so I could listen to my tv via headphones. The noise cancelling function is the best! Cannot hear a baby crying on the other side of the wall with them on. They connect very quickly and the battery lasts me for days! I find them comfortable to wear even with glasses

Bought these on sale - $100 off. While they are the extra bass model (can be set to "normal"), the sound quality is excellent, as is the comfort and ability to cut out noise even without the NC circuit. My ears sweat a little during working out, but these wipe clean very easy.

Absolutely love these headphones. The sound and bass is just phenomenal. The best i have ever heard out of a set. I was going to try to get the beats solo 3's but i can wager that these are even better than those. These normally retail well over $250, but were on sale for 100 bucks less. The noise cancelling, and ambient sound modes are very convenient. You can opt to still hear the sound loud and clear while at the same time still being able to hear people outside talking to you, or you can drown out all outside noise. They hold a pretty long charge as well. nice and durable and don't seem flimsly like most headphones. Would definitely recommend. I love them so much I bought my mom a pair too so she can get in on the bass these pack.

Great sound. For the price on sale. Is great value. For Any type of music. I like them better than more expensive set. It has equalizer settings to customize sound with the app. I love the bass for some music. Movies sound. Is excellent.

First of all I have never had noise canceling headphones so I can’t compare these to the best out there but they are pretty darn good in my opinion. You put your hand on right cup and it allows you to hear something as if you didn’t even have them on. In fact you can hear better. My Son tried to talk me into getting Beats but I tried both on in store and I chose these because they were more comfortable around my ears. Battery life is amazing. I have had em for about 3 weeks now and listen to em for about an hour or so a day and haven’t had to charge em yet. My Son is a huge Apple fan and says nothing compares but his air pods died on him and he used mine and although he doesn’t like headphones that completely cover your ears he was very impressed by the sound quality and wanted to use them for the rest of the night. He was cooking dinner and I had the tv on and all he could hear was his music. Very happy that I chose these over the Beats or Bose although I’m sure the step above these on both Sony or Bose are probably even more impressive but I couldn’t see myself spending almost 300 dollars for those.

These headphones are great. They are lightweight and comfortable. Most important they sound great. You can control the volume easily on the side of your ear. These are also noise cancelling also. For anyone that has a hearing issue, these are for you.

Fit: I have a small head I guess because these did not fit me even with the band fully closed. The earpieces themselves fit over my ears well but because the band was sitting about an inch or more off my head when directly over my ears you can imagine the discomfort when it slid down and pressed against the top and backs of my ear. I couldn't turn them to fit while resting on my shoulders either since the earpiece fits your ear a certain way. And moving one side off your ear it either almost slipped off my head it I put it back or covered my face if moved forward. Run time is great though I didn't use consistently it lasted almost a week with about 3-5 hours of use each day give or take. When I first took them out of the box and turned them on I heard my own voice clearly, like it was being played back to me, part of the ambient noise feature I suppose Decent quality noise I didn't download an app if there was one due to the ill fit so I never played with the sound settings The controls are a bit clunky, I realized I'd much prefer actual buttons to the touch system they used. I assume with a little more practice it would be easier to use though so I'll say there's a learning curve. Overall it's not a bad product, if you get it on sale. I wouldn't pay $200 for them, maybe $150 or less. I ended up returning because they hurt my ears too much and for the price I wasn't going to keep them.

One of the best purchases I ever bought at Best Buy, and I really mean it. They are very comfortable and the most important to me is the sound quality. It's the very best and I think it's even better than Bose. The base is fantastic. You can't go wrong with these.

I wanted these for the 950 sound but the M3’s fit and comfort, this is exactly what they are. USB-C is nice. Added features like the M3’s where you can tune the EQ and the gestures. Sound very similar to the 950’s with better fit and comfort. I wish it came with a hard case like the M3’s did.

If you are a basshead, these are the headphones you've been looking for. Highly recommended! Pros: - VERY comfortable - Solid audio quality with great bass - Nice app to EQ things how you want - Good battery life and Bluetooth connection Cons: - ANC is not as good as the more expensive Sony's

These headphones sound amazing! I had beats studio before purchasing these headphones and the audio quality was superb from the Sony headphones! Being 120$, I believe that this was a good deal! The headphones are comfortable, sound good, and look nice. 10/10
