    Bought these for my wife so she could have personal time away from the kids. They cancel noise so well for her! She bought another set of non-noise cancelling to use when she needs to hear her surroundings as these are too effective when she needs to hear the world around her. If you have no other responsibilities and want to truly tune out the world, these are perfect.

    I purchased these after my beats studio 2 wireless stopped connecting through Bluetooth. In no means are beats the best headphones around but I can definitely say mine sounded a lot better than the xb900n does. The bass is overwhelming for anything other than bass heavy music. They are garbage for movies/podcasts. The bass is borderline muddy. I've heard a lot of good reviews for the Sony headphones over the past couple of years but these leave me rather disappointed. My $80 arctis 1 wireless on my pc sound quite a bit better as well. These will be returned for the Bose offering(less expensive and comes with a case also).

    If you expect to get a sound quality similar to Sony XM4, then you will be disappointed. These headphones got a lot of bass that often overpowers mids and highs, but sound quality is nowhere near to xm4's. So they are good for bassheads that prefer a lot of bass, but probably wouldn't suit regular music listeners. Also, my ears get hot and sweaty when wearing these for more than 1 hour, which if unacceptable for $250 headphones. If you decide to buy these then wait for a discount

      - To get the sound that you prefer, please try the different sound modes found in the Sony Headphones Connect app. There is even an EQ in there—which can be customized to fine-tune your music to your liking.
      - Try playing another source on the device. For example, try another music app to see if the issue is with a particular app.
      - When you listen to music from a computer on the headset, sound quality may be poor for the first few seconds after a connection is made. This is caused by the computer transmitting music at sound quality for communications at first, and it is not a malfunction.

    I purchased this updated pair headphones to replace my other Sony headphones that are still in storage after my move. These are easier to set up with the app that before. They also sound great! The noise cancelling allows me to tune out the ambient sounds. These are great.

    I love these headphones... the sound on these headphones are great. Love the bass on these especially when you listen to hip hop music or any bass type music. And i love how you can adjust the different levels of bass on these headphones... call quality is okay not really the best but it will do. Overall these are great headphones especially for gym music or hip hop
