Great sound and ease of use

I like to use them for traveling to drown out the aircraft noise and surrounding conversations. The Q15’s were my first pair, and when after years of use I replaced them with the Q25’s. Both were excellent and set the bar pretty high for comfort and noise cancellation. When my Q25’s ran their course I decided to try the Sony XB900N head phones. Needless to say after one flight I realized the Sony’s simply didn’t get the job done in either category. The Q35’s like their predecessors are what I have come to expect from Bose.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the noise cancellation of this unit. To ensure optimal performance with noise canceling, please adjust the earpad position to fit your ears. The noise canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.
You can also change the settings of the noise canceling function and the Ambient Sound Mode with the “Sony Headphones Connect” app.

Depending on the surrounding environment, wind noise may increase when the Ambient Sound Mode is turned on. In that case, cancel the voice focus with the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. If the wind noise is still significant, turn off the Ambient Sound Mode.
If you feel annoyed or uncomfortable with White noise or Wind noise, please change [NC/Ambient] mode to [OFF].
How to change [NC/Ambient] settings:
If you have never connected to the Sony | Headphones Connect app: change [NC/Ambient] settings by pressing the CUSTOM button on the headphones repeatedly until the Ambient Sound Mode is turned off.
If you have previously connected to the Sony | Headphones Connect app: change [NC/Ambient] settings using the Headphones Connect app => [Sound] -> [Ambient Sound Control] -> toggle left to turn off.
