The noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. For best results, Make sure that the noise canceling function is turned on. Adjust the earpad position to fit your ears. -Carl

We appreciate your feedback regarding the noise cancellation of this unit. To ensure optimal performance with noise canceling, please refer to the steps and guidelines below:

• Make sure that the noise canceling function is turned on.
• Adjust the earpad position to fit your ears.
• The noise canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.

You can also change the settings of the noise canceling function and the Ambient Sound Mode with the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app.
