Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i normally hate using touch controls, but the touch control on the right outer ear is very easy to use. ear cuffs are thick and plush and so comfortable that i can (and do) wear these for upwards of 5 hours without *any* discomfort--it would feel like i weren't wearing them at all if not for the weight of the headphones. the noise-cancelling could be better (and it is on the other more expensive/premium models), but i only use them in the house and they cancel most of the noise at home, and i hear nothing outside if i'm playing music. just bruh i love these things they're easily the best pair of headphones i own and they don't feel cheap despite being made of plastic

I listen mostly plugged in to the CD player. For some reason every so often the right side goes dead but pulling and replacing the plug in the player cures that problem. They sound good and are comfortable.

The noise canceling works pretty good, they are pretty comfortable although my ears get hot after a while. The ear pads are nice and squishy. The battery life seems pretty good and it does tell you an estimated charge left which is ok, such as 'about 50%'. It would be nice if these had detection to turn them off after they have been removed for a while, otherwise the battery will die when you return to use them the next day or after a weekend. Charging could be faster as it can take several hours to full charge.

Would have gone with the XM4s but this is half the price and sound is fantastic and only main difference is the noise cancelling which this is close to XM4. Really comfortable for all day wear.

The extra bass is adjustable. These connect easily to my phone via the sony app. Equalizer controls are easy via the app. Noise cancelling is pretty good. Finger swipe controls are responsive. They do look plastic-y.

The cushions are soft and the headband is light. Although they do grip your ears (for noise cancelling purpose) it does not feel heavy compared to its competitors. The headband has very minimal pressure on your head so dont worry about pain on top of your head. The sound is amazing and immersive with adaptive learning technology to know when your sitting down at your home, vs. walking on the street. If you allow the headphones they will learn and adapt to your surroundings. They also come with pre custom made settings to change how the music sounds or you can even create your own.

I didn't realize I could blue tooth them to my cell phone to us with my music apps so it was a great bonus and no cords when I am outside trying to walk

She wanted something that would be comfortable with good sound quality that she could set up with her computer and iPad. She loves it and it was easy to set up. The sound quality is amazing.

A lot of songs that have bass in them will NOT sound good with these headphones. The bass is not clear. It acts like it's trying to take over, when treble needs to be apart of the party. It's a shame, because these headphones are extremely comfortable on the head, the battery life is long, and the size adjustment is absolutely phenomenal, and some songs DO sound AMAZING... however, you WILL come across songs that just do NOT sound right with the bass. I've always bought Sony products and I am extremely disappointing with this purchase. I do not think I will be ever buying Sony products again... their quality has gone downhill severely, and maybe this is why the headphones are always on sale for $178. Not worth $248. or even $178 in my opinion.

There were right in the sweet spot because i bought them on sale $150+ tax. If you find them at this price again, buy them, but if they were 250, than that would have been above my budget. Not to say that they are not worth it for 250, I'm just saying I'm extremely happy I bought them for 150 because they are awesome, if you seen reviews on them, everything is true except some reviews say they feel cheaply made, they dnt they are very premium feeling Headphones, and he texture on the headphones feels like they would resist to scraps and scratches. Only downside is with bestbuy. In my area, they were very disorganized and slow. I was better off going to the store and look for them myself because that's exactly what I did

They are super comfortable to wear for long periods and the battery life on them is amazing. The sound quality is a nice balance with decent bass.
