I am glad to have gotten them. They are worth the Black Friday price for sure. I don't think they are better than the MDR-XB950BT even though the noise cancelling is great once you get use to it.

Average sound quality

The newer ones are pretty bad compared to the old model. I had heard thanksgiving products are cheaper in quality compared to other times, this definitely proves it.
