The cushions on the ears are very comfortable and fit well, but if your head is on the smaller side vertically they might not be so secure for workouts or active use.

This is the not the experience that we want you to have. For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is up-to-date (via the Sony Headphones Connect app).
When the Adaptive Sound Control on the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app is turned on, the wearer's actions, like walking or running, are detected. The noise canceling function is automatically adjusted and the Ambient Sound Mode may be activated according to these actions. To make the most of the noise canceling function, turn off the Adaptive Sound Control, and try to turn on the noise canceling function manually when you need it.

If your in a very loud area your out of luck. Terrible for working out. Had a different pair of Sony headphones that I loved these do not compare.

On one the hand the sound quality Is good, on the other the design is clunky and ugly on your head. If your gonna walk with these then look for a more slim design because these are very clunky and big. They are a plastic mess at times and the sound quality is okay but not good enough for the price. Maybe if it was more like $50-$100 then I’d recommend them but I don’t think it’s near worth it. Summary: clunky plastic and sweaty mess with okay sound quality and great noise cancellation

I’m impressed with the material, phone app, hard case, and music control system. However, this headphone annoys me during noise canceling and ambient modes. I enjoy it best when everything is turned off (which is not why I decided to get a noise canceling headphone in the first place)
