Am a 70 year old, disabled and on a fixed income of 1700 a month. Choice Sony cause of good reputation. Headband snapped apart after 3 months .. contacted geek squad. No response.

The noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is up-to-date (via the Sony Headphones Connect app). You may also find this link helpful:

Charging is completed in about 3.5 hours (empty battery to its full capacity). The charging time may differ depending on the conditions of use. It is recommended to use a USB AC adaptor (commercially available) capable of supplying an output current of 0.5 A (500 mA) or more. Make sure to also use the supplied USB Type-C cable.
