They're pretty nice headphones with great battery life and good sound quality, although there is a super bright flashing light when you turn them on which can be irritating if you're wearing them in the dark. Connectivity sometimes doesn't work automatically but it's easy to go in and manually connect them.

I would rate these hinged than the Bose Quiet 35. The Sony’s are crisper and clearer. Exceptional headphones. I purchased mine on clearance ($148.00). I wondered why they were on clearance. I wondered if it was the quality. These are great Quality headphones. ThSony headphones come with a app that allows you to modify the sound. I would recommend these specific Sony headphones over Bose. I though I would never say that but after trying the Sony headphones I am very impressed. Oh yeah beats headphones aren’t even comparable. Beat are over priced dollar store headphones.

Very good bass-heavy headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Sony WH-XB910N--the name hardly rolls of the tongue--are some excellent noise canceling headphones from Sony. They are not quite as good as the WH-1000XM4 Sony flagship model, but I suspect most will be happy with them. The over ear headphones look quite a lot like their brand partner. The included case is very similar, and includes a USB cable and aux cord. These also use the Sony headphones app--this is an absolute must to get the most out of these, and Sony's app is really quite good and easy to use. Charging is quick, and battery life is long, up to 30 hours. I've not yet fully run mine down, although I had to top off the initial charge again in order to successfully do a wireless firmware update (it refused until it had more charge). The sound quality is very good, with the promised bass definitely present. Taking them through a tour of various popular music genres, these serve well for any of those where bass is appreciated. I'm not sure these would be as well suited to classical music. The noise canceling feature is good, but not quite on par with the WH-1000XM4. It lacks some of the features such as speak to chat, but a very nice substitute is the ability to cup one's hand on the right headphone, which will pause noise-cancelling and greatly turn down the volume so you can communicate more easily. This Quick Attention Mode was very responsive and worked flawlessly. Sony did bring over their DSEE technology for improving compressed audio sources. Using the app, there are a lot of customization options. Out of the box, the EQ is set to flat, but there are a ton of presets to customize. There's support for a 3D audio option and the ability to train it for your ears if you are interested in the service. You can adjust the level of noise cancellation to let in more ambient noise or not. One thing to keep in mind: these cancel noises coming in, not going out. My wife said she could hear what I was listening to while sitting next to me. I did conduct a brief call with these, and the microphone did not have any issues that be discerned, so it's fine for this usage as well. I'd have rated these even higher--if I'd never used the 1000XM4. They're still quite good, and if the extra features the flagship offers don't mean as much to you, and you're keen on bass, the price differential should steer you to consider these. While I don't think the noise cancellation quite as good, it's still quite effective. I've used Sony audio products for years, and they rarely disappoint. These are no exception--another fine audio product that most anyone will be pleased with.

Everything my daughter wanted!

They are everything she wanted in headphones. In fact, she put them on as soon as she opened them and kept them on for hours afterwards! She said the sound is great, they're comfortable, and the bluetooth turns off when you take them off, which she wanted. Very happy with my purchase!
