As a musician myself I can discern a little bit more sounds. while this is a great headset, lows sound muddy and therefore making bass sound rather boring. I guess for the price and considering these go on sale rather often, they are what you pay for them.

Some reviews refer to excessive bass, I did not have the same reaction. Rather, I liked the sound very much. I think instead of sounding like too much bass I think the headphones have a full, rounded sound.

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i’ve had these headphones for about a little over a year and a half. it’s my first set of over the ear headphones so im not really sure about the “lifespan” on these. a couple weeks ago the material on the ear pads started to break down pretty rapidly. it’s my only issue. but i digress, i do end up sleeping with them on.

We're also sorry to learn that the earpads started to break down or peel off. Here are some tips on how to keep your Headphones in mint condition, and extend the life of your Headphones!
• To avoid cracking or peeling of the earpads due to long term contact with bodily fluids e.g. sweat, hair oil or other body oil, always clean them by wiping it with dry soft tools such as cotton swabs, balls, or pads. Avoid using any sharp or potentially damaging materials or tools.
• If the Headphones is particularly dirty, soak a cloth in diluted mild detergent, then wring it before wiping the surface of the Headphones.
• Always store your headphones in a case or protective bag when not in use.

The sound cancellation is excellent and I'd say its comparable to the Bose headset. The durability is exceptional so far and my son wears them everywhere he goes. I got them on sale for $175 which was a great deal for the quality. Like many wireless headsets, they make you download their app, but I did notice it isnt necessary to use the product.
